IGN has their video review up on dailymotion. They gave it a 7/10 they say the game lacks polish in the graphics department, and the boss battles are lame. They also say that the missions get repeative. But still 7/10 is a decent score much better than most movie based games.

Lol, saw that coming. IGN always say "Man, this Spidey game looks amazing!" and proceed to give it an average score. Not disputing it or anything, just an observation.

That's precisely why I expected that. Their preview title was "The Amazing Spider-Man looks, well...amazing!" and Greg Miller was really excited about his time with the game even saying "The game does not suck!" during E3.

Then the review comes around and their like, "Yeah, it's alright, I guess."

I think the graphics are just fine... and Arkham Asylum had lame bosses, but those are not nearly enough to give a game 7.0

A 7 is about what I expect from most editorial outlets, game is freaking awesome in my opinion, but there is a lack of polish. It is the best Spider-Man game of both last and this gen.

I never understood why Spider-Man 2 is considered the best Spider-Man game. The side missions were repetitive and the voice acting sucks. Not to mention the lack of unlockables such as costumes cutscenes etc. The web swinging in my opinion is also ehh. I mean yeah sweet I move at lightning speed and my web does connect to buildings but that doesn't help when I get into an area with low buildings and need to get somewhere quickly. Another thing that bugs me is I run into buildings constantly! I don't suck at swinging but when I need to go around a corner it's rough. Really the only cool thing about web swinging in that game was the cool air tricks you can do.

I have no clue, funny thing I was there while playing and thought I saw something red, but I paid it no mind because I thought the symbols haven't been put in yet. Then I get online and I see there's a video of it lol.

See that is the best game in my book. Yes it does have its flaws but it is so much fun. I still beat the game from start to finish from time to time. If it was updated to what we have now, forget about it.

Don't say that yet. Shattered Dimensions was repetitive and lame, but IGN gave it 8.0... no way will this game be worse than Shattered Dimensions, I don't trust IGN's opinion

They are fun in their own right I suppose lol. I couldn't stand playing WoS every single time Spider-Man spoke I wanted to punch a baby. I can't wait for The Amazing Spider-Man game too bad I have to wait until Friday to get it because of the good folks at Amazon. Those ****ers.
