Quick Question:
When I start the game, will I immediately get spoilers from the movie?

I want to play the game a little bit (mainly just swing around a bit), but I want to go into the movie as spoiler-free as possible.

You should probably skip the whole scene when you first get to the apartment, particularly before you talk to Gwen over the computer.

You know, though I loved SM2 back in the day, it hasn't aged well. At all. Literally the only good thing about the game that has stayed enjoyable are the swinging mechanics. The PS1 Spidey game(s) is still the best iteration to date. I have yet to play TASM, but I'm sure it'll be at least as good as SM2, if not better.

Has anyone tried playing this along with listening to the movie soundtrack? It's a great feeling, I must say.

I'll do that tomorrow. I use to play SM3 with the soundtrack too.

Is it better than WOS ?
Is that a defining line to compare it to:huh:
Story is good, boss fights look more entertaining and less face cringing, voice acting is superb, gameplay is varied
Already miles better than WoS

Since the first cutscene actually

Never played WOS, it's better than SM3. It's even with SM2, for now.
I believe what's before the bolded part, not in agreement with the bold :o

If you're being serious, SM2 isn't that good anymore. It's aged horrifically.

I am serious about ASM not being even with SM2, SM2 is still a good game with great swinging mechanics, but it has some major issues, like the foced pre-requisite stuff before progressing in the game, what a chore

Is Aunt May's friend Stan, Stan Lee?
He swings out of that building apartment in his trailer, so I'd say yes

What pre-requisite stuff?

If you're talking to me, I haven't played it yet. Should be picking it up tomorrow. I was just saying that SM2 has aged terribly as a game.

Wait, this pre-requisite stuff was in SM2?

And you think TASM is better than SM2?

TASM is the best Spider-Man game there is or was, including Spider-Man 2

And you think TASM is better than SM2?
Are you saying a game aged horribly then defend it?
Yeah, this stuff was in SM2. In USM there were obligations as well, but you can do it all before progressing the game and allow the game story to flow nicely

No, I was just asking about the pre-requisite stuff and if it was in SM2, not TASM. I hardly remember it, but I have a vague idea of what you're talking about.

So you think that TASM > SM2?
