American Gladiators

I know that a new event and a new gladiator (Erin Toughill) will debut on Monday.

Tanji Johnson/Stealth was Air Force, don't you know?

Coolness that Gina is going to be on twice in three days: Saturday, when she fights Kaitlin Young and two days later on Monday for next week's episode.

She'll be on tonight though. Gina is gong to be on TV three times in seven days.

And Erin Toughill debuts tonight as "Steel."

well the vibe I'm getting from the MMA fans is that they want to see Ms. Carano get her face pounded in....

Yep.

As an MMA fan myself, I want to see Gina win, just to prove the doubters wrong. The MMA fans bash her for doing Gladiators, yet not many bash Randy Couture or Rampage Jackson when those guys do movies. I guess that's because Couture and Jackson are bigger names then Carano.

I think another part of it is that both Couture and Jackson are "committed" to MMA while most feel that Gina is using MMA as a stepping stool to other things

True.

Because of American Gladiators, many MMA fans over at Sherdog rank Gina up on the list of "MMA fighters they hate the most" alongside Tito Ortiz, Kimbo Slice and Brock Lesnar.

ahhh Sherdog....home of the keyboard warrior....I wasn't aware there were so many MMA "fighters in training" populating the internet....

you know the type....spiky hair, silver chain, barbed wire tattoo on the forearm, ownership of multiple visors.....usually working the stock room at Target or Best Buy...and only doing that to overpay for MMA "training" at their local gym and wait to be "discovered" ....because they are so awesome they will be discovered eventually....

They also bash Pro Wrestlers going to MMA, when they don't realize how many (Non Japanese) MMA fighters have dabbled in pro wrestling

- Tank Abbott
- Tito Ortiz
- Mark Coleman
- Bob Sapp
- Kevin Randleman
- Ken Shamrock
- Josh Barnett
- Tom Howard
- Ron Waterman
- Dan Severn
- Sean O'Haire (MMA is what he is doing now)
- Akebono
- Dan Puder
- Frank Trigg

You also got Rampage Jackson, who is a fan of pro wrestling and who once thought about going to pro wrestling.

Haha. The truth is a harsh one.

Am I the only one that finds it annoying that they have to interview the contestants before and after EVERY event? Plus all their personalties are annoying too. Just shut up and compete.

That's one of the flaws of the new American Gladiators. Do it once and a while.

Btw, these Christopher Knight commercials are hilarious.

anyone getting an odd feeling from this blonde chick and her husband?? he looks like a wife beater to me....

She always wants to impress him. I guess she's getting an ass beating if she doesn't win. :o

wow, thats pretty embarassing how fast Toby went out in that last competition. That set a new record
