I still can't believe that!

I thought it was awesome to see that happen to Kimbo. I would have preferred he lost to someone worth a flip, but it was still great to see. It just showed how over hyped he was and how much he was coddled by EliteXC.

I was definately shocked, that's for sure. I just hate to see EliteXC out of business.

Gina Carano was recently interviewed on WFAN in New York, here are a few highlights:


- Carano said she expected to fight Cyborg in February, which is now not happening with EliteXC closing down.


- She said she signed a long-term contract with EliteXC in early 2007 before her name was nationaly recognized, and her people tried to renegotiate.


- Carano said she was unhappy with her pay off for the final CBS/EliteXC Saturday Night special. She said she was paid $25,000, while Kimbo Slice earned $500,000. Carano believes she brought in as many viewers as Slice.

That's a pretty ridiculous disparity.

Not on NBC. It may get picked up on another network, but I doubt it.

Gina is still undefeated. She's talking with Strikeforce on a new contract, which would make her first fight in a year against Cris Cyborg in August.
