Pretty sure that's a hair piece.

So this is about being hip to the style trends of the times then. How petty that that is what dictates hairstyle quality to some.
Probably wouldn't mind if you could express not liking it in a less obnoxious, egotistical way.
He dresses like a hipster, and some 90's/early 00's hairstyle would clash with that. Makes no sense for the character.
That hairstyle Brendan has in that Dragon Emperor pic is hilarious. I'm picturing Andrew with it and I can't stop laughing my ass off.![]()

^ Pretty sure he doesn't dress like a hipster. Just an average highschool kid. Unless you're implying every modern highschooler is automatically a hipster.
As far as hipsters go, their hair comes in literally every style ever created, and then some.

What exactly makes either of those 'hipster'? He looks normal.
Possibly the weirdest sense of humor I've ever encountered.
Congratulations, you found a picture of three hipsters! Not all hipsters dress exactly alike(not all are that flashy), and also, even an average high school kid in this day and age wouldn't be rocking that hairstyle.
Not gonna work, and I'm sticking with that.
Also, let me show you some of his hipster style.

We need manips now.
Garfield's hair honestly reminds me of Ditko's original Peter, but a little updated. A little more wavy, sure, but.... am I the only one who sees the shape?

You go right on ahead and keep thinking that, champ. I've made my point and said my opinion. I'm not going to spend anymore time stating the obvious.
How is that "hipster" clothing? Because he's not wearing Marc Ecko, or Aeropostale/American Eagle? What's wrong with having your own style? Or is individuality and doing your own thing bad?
I see lots of people wearing red jeans like that, so what? He's not wearing a shirt and tie to school, big nerd glasses, or overly tight shirts. Have you been to a high school nowadays? Diversification is EVERYWHERE.
I honestly think I'm being trolled. I fail to see how those two pictures of Peter Parker show he dresses like a "hipster". What the hell qualifies as a "hipster" anyways?
You said your opinion, but you haven't made a point. You haven't expressed what makes that 'hipster'.
There's no comparison to any hipster photos, just photos of Garfield looking like a normal modern highschooler. And maybe a little Elvis in the second one.
Dunno how 'hip' Elvis still is to today's teenagers, but his hair in TASM2 reminds me of this:

Uhh, I have no problem with him having his own style. My point is, his style is hip to the current times, and having a hairstyle like the one that the other guy mentioned would clash with that, and would look horrible on Andrew's Peter.
He doesn't have that hairstyle, and yeah this Peter has his own sort of modern style, there's nothing wrong with that. It makes him stand out more and reflects his character. He likes doing his own thing.
That black leather jacket is very modern and hip. Pay attention to the style of it, and not just the fact that it's a black leather jacket. Then you start thinking greaser, which is completely wrong.....How exactly is wearing a black leather jacket hipster-like?
