Ang Lee's 'Gemini Man' (Will Smith)

There's something weird about "young" Will's delivery. He almost sounds like a kid going through puberty.

Seems like he softened his voice a little. Got rid of the rasp that comes with age. I think it's a nice touch.

Trailer was a bit generic, though the de-aging was pretty good for the most part.

Going to be fun seeing Will play two characters.

I really enjoyed that trailer. This looks way more interesting than I thought it would, and young Will Smith looks legit and exactly how he did in Fresh Prince which is crazy. Hopefully, Ang Lee doesn't disappoint with this one, because its been a while since I have really liked one of his films.

I assume De-Aged facial hair is harder to do. Even Sam Jackson’s facial hair was removed.

I feel like we could get a full on recreation of the fresh prince opening credits now.

I wonder what made the de-aging easier: the advancements of the technology or the fact that Will has only barely aged in 25 years.

its a 100% cgi head like in Benjamin Button and Tron 2(Jeff Brudges) and Blade Runner 2 (Rachel). its the same process

Kind of funny to think that 10 years ago, we were all amazed by the CG Arnold in Terminator Salvation (or as amazed as you can be by that particular movie) and then to look at this and see just how much things have leveled up.

The first shots are dodgy but in darker lighting it looks great

This one looks incredible

This is okay but I feel he needs a mustache because he looks too smooth

I mean ofbyou really really look at it you see how the skin is like flawless, which is probably the intent as seeing he is an artificial being.

Some of the shots look great but some are still a bit dodgy. The trailer itself was alright. Felt like a trailer from the late 90s or early 2000s a little.

Had no idea that this was even being produced, but I'm down for it.

Nao that as underwhelming. It looks like a trailer for a network pilot.

The CGI on young Will is off. It looks like a bad case of uncanny valley.

Maybe the 24fps YouTube regulation is making the footage look pedestrian.

I guess we hafta to watch the 60fps version as Ang Lee intended to get a good handle on how this'll actually look and feel like.

This doesn’t look good.

The de-aged Smith looks blatantly fake half the time.
