Horror Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire | AMC

Dammit I liked you Armand but you end up being so petty and insecure

Holy **** that ending. I am anxiously awaiting the next episode.

I knew in my heart that something was going to go left.

Non-spoiler sidebar, but I'm so sick of Louis' manipulative ass and Armand's insecure ass and the way they can be mean girls and be so dismissive of Claudia. I want to fight them!

But between last week's intense episode and this week, my nerves are all screwed up.

If you're feeling that strongly, it just tells me the writing is good. I've watched endless hours of mediocre shows that I don't even remember, while this show has worked its way into my guts. :) I know I will watch this season as many times as I watched the first.

Squeek, I’m all in!

Seriously, it’s a testament to the writing and the superb acting by the cast. Literally everyone on this show dramatically pulls their weight.

Granted we all know what becomes of Claudia but I want so much more for her. :csad:

Now that was a fantastic episode and that ending definitely caught me off guard. The writing, acting and directing in this show is just phenomenal and its sad hearing more people aren't watching it.

Finally talking about it on the Prestige TV ringer podcast

Episode 7, GOOD LORD...

So much to unpack.

It was a good episode on the surface, but like alot of this season though, I felt it was stretched out. Obviously we have to wait to see how next week pans out, but if they had the trial as the first half and then Louis getting his revenge against the Theatre in the last, it would've sufficed.

But God, Delainey Hayles deserves all the Emmys. All of her moments in this episode and the way she delivered Claudia's murder was just amazing. The flashback with Louis DRAGGING Claudia like a rag doll and manipulating Lestat to turn her was just disturbing. I tend to believe Lestat's POV.

But still, to hell with Lestat, Armand and Louis. Claudia and Madeleine deserved better.

What´s crazy is that there is still 1 more episode to go, and they could have chosen to end season 2 on episode 6 and I would have been like, ´´man that was an excellent season of television´´, with that reveal at the end of last weeks episode.

Alright episode 7 might be the single best episode of television I've seen this year.

Well, I'm struggling with it. :(
This trial never took place in the book, Lestat never went back to France. This big change is actually more annoying than anything. I get that it is being b used to show the two perspectives instead of just Louie's, but....meh. :(

They literally stretched so many things out this season and took a lot more creative liberties. I mean what we got out of it were some gems, but they really could have condensed this.

I also felt giving Claudia/Madeleine's relationship romantic undertones was a weird choice. Granted she is mentally an older woman, but I feel like it would've been better to just keep their relationship sisterly.

But then again we didn't see a lot from it anyway.

Wow what a fantastically, brutal episode that was and while I knew things weren't going to end well, I didn't think they would drag it out for so long which honestly made it even more emotional IMO.

Once again Sam Reid really killed it in this episode along with Delainey Hayles and both deserve Emmy nominations IMO although sadly it feels like this show is just too under the radar.

Now, I definitely can't wait for the finale.

I still have too watch last weeks episode. Probably watch it tonight but I am not ready to ugly cry watching it even though I know I will.

Fun ending to a stretched out but stellar season.

A few things...

Even though he ended things with Armand and had a polite divorce with Lestat, Louis is still a bird. :o

Interesting that they covered Daniel being turned into a vampire so fast. He's still my favorite character, but seeing how him and his maker Armand will interact here on out will be interesting.

But the real fun thing about this episode... that little name drop for Akasha!!! We're almost there!

Great final on top of a stellar season, one thing I am not sure about is Malloy getting turned in the end, I am just not sure how I feel about that, also as much as I am looking forward ot season 3, something tells me we've already watched the peak of this series.

Ok watched the last two episodes and I’m emotional drained. Last weeks episode was so tragic even though we all knew what was coming but today’s finale was satisfying in so many ways.

Claudia’s death killed me so seeing Santiago and the rest of the Coven get theirs was great. Lestat and Louis reunion in the present day after the truth came out and them remembering her was heartbreaking. I’m ok with Molloy becoming a vampire so that didn’t bother me too much giving his sickness.
Overall another amazing season of the show nobody’s watching lol. Can’t wait for season 3. Also Armand, Armand lol nuff said.

The moment Daniel said he had some follow up question's I knew s#### was about to pop off
