Annoying commercials before movies

This has happened a lot lately, and I literally shut my eyes and sit there in meditative thought until they end. Most recent perpatrators are -

- POP THAT POOF! GET HAIR-APY!

- Fandango, any of them will do

- The Verizon wireless ringtone one with the Promiscuous song

I hated those Fandango commercials with a passion.

If you went to Regal Cinemas about 6 years ago, do you remember those commercials with the damn Pepsi girl?

I hated those.

They're almost embarassing to watch. 45 minutes of ****ing commercials that only make people want not to buy ****. The regal theater ads are the worst...I mean christ...just bad.

At first it was amusing now its annoying. I am glad they stopped playing that one commercial with the family that act like they are / spies & ninjas doing jumps & flips to get to the car & then jumps & flips in the theater to the movietickets.com thing

A friend of mine is the lead projectionist at a theatre in Memphis.

Whenever they get a shipment of commercials, they stay unused in the unopened box and then get thrown out.

As was said above ... in the UK we get about 7-8 minutes of brief ads then into the trailers.
