Ansbach (Germany) Explosion

better that this one assclown bought it instead of any of the festival-goers...

Merkel's open door policy is working out well it seems :o

Many of these attacks have been performed by people born in German so...?

Just as the Paris attacks were carried out mostly by French born citizens.

No. The machete attack and this one were carried out by refugees.

Because xenophobia is the answer.

It has nothing to do with xenophobia and everything to do with a country taking in 1 million people with an entirely different culture and religion than the citizens of said country. Germany has no place to put these people and no jobs to give them and it's causing problems. If that's xenophobic to you, then I think you're misunderstanding the word. Sounds like a buzzword to me.

One country trying to absorb millions of refugees on its own is insane.

Because the xenophobia of other countries is preventing them from taking those refugees in. So I'm still right. I'm quite aware of what xenophobia means and it is no buzzword. It's why when people in the U.S. and most European countries hear "refugee" they hear "terrorists, criminals, job takers" and all kinds of other nasty thoughts.

Okay, well it still means nothing in this case. Germany took in far too many refugees and it's causing problems. Not just attacks like this, but also the sexual assaults at concerts, issues with swimming pools, the tent cities and their conditions etc etc. Merkel's policy was reckless and both German citizens and the refugees are feeling the heat because of it.

Anyone that would call Germany xenophobic if they closed their borders to refugees now would be severely uneducated.

Closing their borders now? After they have taken in all of these refugees will solve what exactly? Is the next step to kick out all those refugees? This is all in line with the people who support Trump's ban the Muslims, build a wall kind of solution and a lot of Europe's similary aligned politicians who think that most of their problems can be blamed on refugees or just foreigners in general.

These people would not be in a position to blow things up if she hadn't invited 1 million people in without any sort of screening.

Merkel has destroyed European security for a generation. She should be impeached, and Germany sanctioned.

All those that have criminal records, have committed crimes in Germany, or are not actively looking for work. They can't just leave the refugees in tents and they can't take in any more. Either they find a place for the refugees or they have to send them somewhere else. The current situation is not working. Do you have any idea what the conditions are like for the refugees in the camps? I don't understand how you can argue for more refugees being allowed into Germany when the ones that are already there live in horrible conditions. That's why closing the borders needs to be an option.

This is nothing like what Trump is suggesting. 1 million people have come into Germany. 1 million. And not vetted either. Germany has no idea who these people are. Do you honestly think that is, in any way, a good thing? Not only that, but economic migrants from Algeria have mingled in with the refugees. Germans cannot afford to pay the living costs for these people, nor should they.

I find it baffling that people can stick their heads in the sand with this situation.

I do, but I also see it is pointless to debate this with any of you because you already determined that refugees are criminal.

Please point out where I determined that, or are you just making wild assumptions because you can't outline your own stance on the topic let alone comprehend anyone else's?

At some stage Europe not allowing anymore refugees into its countries is going to become a matter of crucial national security, but we'll have to wait for a few more clerics to be beheaded before you or any other guilt-ridden regressive liberal will admit it.

In one of the other cases posted about today the perpetrator was a known ISIS sympathizer yet he was still in the country - surely in contexts such as those it is the host country's duty to protect its own citizens? Or are you so far down the path of permissive self loathing you don't mind a native being murdered as long as it means refugees get a warm bed and some food?

No one said that.

I said to kick out any refugees that have criminal histories or have committed crimes in Germany (as well as those not actively seeking work) because there are already too many refugees and the numbers need to be reduced. It's not about them all being criminals, it's about stuffing a million people into tents around the country and thinking that everything is going to be okay. This current situation is clearly not working.

It sounds like you don't know anything about it.
