Anticipated Movies of 2022

The Batman, Spiderverse 2 and Avatar 2 mostly. There are others but those are my top 3.

My top 10 as of right now:

01. Avatar 2
02. Mission Impossible 7
03. Knives Out 2
04. The Batman
05. Men
06. Argylle
07. The Killer
08. The Northman
09. Disappointment Blvd
10. Babylon

^^ I keep forgetting Avatar 2 is coming out next year.

Anyway my most anticipated 2022 movie is a movie about a orphaned emo white dude who dresses up as a flying rat to punch on criminals.

Multiverse of Madness
Love and Thunder

Pretty much these.

No matter how good The Batman may look, I'm burnt out on the character and DC in general, so I barely have any interest in their films.

The Batman
The Flash
Doctor Strange 2
Sonic 2
Top Gun Maverick
Jurassic World 3
Lightyear
Thor 4
Black Adam
Into the Spiderverse 2
Black Panther 2
Aquaman 2

Avatar 2
Babylon
Crimes of the Future
Disappointment Blvd.
Killers of the Flower Moon
Knives Out 2
Men
The Batman
The Killer
The Northman

The Batman- Looks like everything I ever wanted in a Batman flick.

The Northman- Eggers doing a revenge flick.

Killers of the Flower Moon- Scorsese.

Poor Things- Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone.

Decision to Leave- Park Chan-wook.

Men- Alex Garland.

The Killer- Fincher and Fassbender.

Blonde- Ana de Armas playing Marilyn Monroe.

Bardo- Alejando G. Inarritu first film since The Revenant.

Batman, Northman and Strange got me interested so far.

Joel Coen's Macbeth
The Northman
The Batman
Avatar 2
Knives Out 2
Aquaman 2
Thor 4
Doctor Strange 2
Mission Impossible 7
Morbius
Spiderverse 2

Tho, if Covid and Hollywood have their way some of these might be 2023 films. Avatar 2 at the very least will be a 2023 film for me because I'll have to wait for the home video release.

Avatar 2 in home release?

I loathe 3D and pretty much disliked its use in every movie I'd seen after Avatar. And yet it feels like a no-brainer choice for the sequel. Still, it will certainly have a 2D option in cinemas like every film has.

The closest 2D showing of Avatar 1 was nearly 3 hours from my home. I expect a similar situation with Avatar 2.

Look, 3D is not for everyone or every movie. But if you’re going to sit through one film in 3D the right way, it’s Avatar lol Cameron might be the only director who ever truly nailed it 100%

And I can only imagine how good the sequel will look like with 13 years all of advancement on that front.

Crimes of the Future
Infinity Pool
The Stars at Noon
Decision to Leave
Killers of the Flower Moon
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
3000 Years of Longing
Master Gardener
Spaceman
Havoc
White Noise
God's Creatures
The Way of the Wind

Updated list

The Batman
Jurassic World Dominion
The Northman
Mission Impossible 7
Knives out II

I'd like to note that I am not a huge fan of Avatar, but with how much time has past and how much confidence Cameron has in it, I'm very curious.
