You kinda look like Jack Osbourne when he was fat... Hollywood already has a person that looks like you so.... unless you terminate him

Rando, I would suggest theatre productions first.

Michael Myers started doing that, he was from Canada. He's done well for himself.

Skip being super famous. It's not worth the hassle.

also here's a tidbit... most people who become successful weren't in it initially for the fame ;) it was there passion or sheer luck

I say act in whatever you can , make a name for yourself , do plays. then you have to audition wherever it is available.

Don't be afraid to "earn*" acting jobs, like Brandon Routh.

*By that I mean, give BJ's to director*

Try finding valuable contacts so will be able to work your way through the industry of film instead of acting like a 12 year old on forums.

Most community colleges (at least in my immediate area) have great film related programs to get your feet wet before you apply for film school. :woot: Good luck to you! :)

Search your family tree and see if you're related to any Producers.

I'd like to get into something like that except I want to get into screen writing. Writing is my passion. Always has been. I too live in Canada.

Becoming super famous is pretty much the most unlikely thing to happen to you in your life. Wanted to put that out there first of all, because the chances of it happening are EXTREMELY rare.

The amount of film students in the United States (and Canada, I'm sure) is absurd. The amount of people who actually get to do something "big" with it is very rare.

Always have a backup plan for your career. But, major in film and see what happens. Most film majors I know ended up having to get a career outside of their major.
