Anyone else have a Tablet PC?

I dont have oner, my brother in-law's wife has one.
As an eye doctor she used one.

Might be a good investment.

Depends on how you're going to use it. My tattoo artist has one that he uses as a display case for his portfolio and it works great for that. The handwriting recognition on it is terrible, though, so it wouldn't work well for handwriting notes directly into the system. He has a Toshiba, I think.

Personally, I can type a lot faster than I can write, so I'd just get a little sub-compact notebook to take to class and type notes on if it were me.

Yeah that's a good point, I think I might do that if the handwriting thing is garbage...

I think a hybrid would be best if you're a student. A way to type notes and then being able to draw formulas or diagrams on the same device.

If the handwriting recognition software was anywhere near being worth a damn on tablet PC's, I might agree with you.
