I have an irrational fear of Greys....anyone else have the same fear?

By Greys, mean the Aliens. The big headed, grey, black eyed mother ****ers....ew. I hate them.

I have no idea where this fear originated. The only thing I could think of was when I was little, they showed this special about Aliens...and abductions. They showed things about people who have strange triangles on their faces, and even a picture of an Alien baby hybrid thing....freaked me out.

Then acourse...Signs. That didnt help either. And since the Fourth Kind came out, I was curious if theres anyone else who has this same phobia.

I used to be terrified of them as a child. I used to watch that "sightings" show on SciFi, and it scared the bejeezus out of me. I used to think they were outside my window, watching me at night. They still give me the willies, but not as much as they used to.

But weather they are real or not is irrelevant. They're still scary as balls. Rats are just gross. I dont find them scary.

The likelihood of extraterrestrial life looking the way we think they do is very low, however, the fear of "Greys" could just be a generalized fear of extraterrestrials, only exemplified by the Greys (which are the most stereotypical extraterrestrial). In that case, I'd say it's as reasonable as arachnophobia or something similar.

Greys ARE pretty creepy. I remember being truly scared as kid when they aired a fake documentary of a family encountering said aliens and videotaping the entire incident.

I used to be terrified of Vampires as a kid, and would sleep with the covers over my head because I didn't want them to get me. Then I grew up, learned they can't get in your house without permission AND they get frickin awesome powers.
I don't think your fear is stupid... I have an irrational fear of crustaceans. My fear of spiders is very rational though...

i remember that too. i think it was on Fox or something like that. was it advertised as a fake documentary? 'Cause i seem to remember thinking that it was all very real at the time.
