Anyone else having SHH forum loading slowly on phone?

My phone is an iPhone 5/ iOS 12.1.4. Whenever I browse SHH forum it gets hot after 5 minutes and battery burns away at 1%/ minute. Browsing is quite slow, but not super slow (I need to wait for about 10 seconds for it to finish loading).

Everything works worse since layout change but I can only handle navigating this mess few minutes a day on mobile. Just tragic, slow and buggy and God forbid there are gifs or tweets on a page

Loading... browsing... typing a post... everything is slow, on my desktops, laptops, Macbooks, phones, and tablets...

Most of the time, I get a "webpage couldn't be loaded, webpage using too much memory", etc. messages

or the pages reload with a "reloaded because of using significant memory" message.

Site's been that way the last couple weeks for me.

What is noticeable for me is not really that it's slow (it's an old phone, so being slow is inevitable), but it burns through battery like crazy. Usually if I just browse web it can take 15 minutes to go from 100% to 99% (yeah, 99%, not 90%, once it reaches 100% it takes quite a while to go down), or 1% every 5 minutes otherwise. But this morning I browsed SHH forum for 10 minutes and it went from 100% to 88%. The phone got really hot too, like I used it while sitting in the sauna.

I use it throughout the day when I'm on the move and it seems fine. Not sure if it drains more battery than other sites, that's possible.

This is also another way to put it for me. My phone/tablet feel like they'll explode using the site.

Those ads and personal data box to the right is taking over the phone screen, making the site unusable by phone.

Yep, it was wonky for a few hours, now the personal data box is completely gone for me.
Am I the only one with this issue?
