Anyone else think Nightwing could take Batman

I think it's safe to say Nightwing will never be able to beat Batman. Bruce is older, but he has more experience. I'd say he's also had much more and better training and he's a LOT smarter than Dick.

Didn't Batman state in a recent comic-book that Tim was getting better than Dick ever was? I could be mixing things up, though. Anyways, I doubt Dick could take Bruce, he may one day be better physically, but Bruce would outsmart him any day, there's a reason this guy can wipe the floor with Superman, and it's not physical.

Yeah Bruce recently said Tim was on his way to being the greatest Robin ever. Which says a lot.

Batman could beat Nightwing easily, it's not even a contest.

heck, I reckon tim and dick could probably do it together.

if push came to shove, I reckon bruce would overall underestimate dick and that may be his downside.

I think bruce has never really seen dick as a threat to him and is probably the only person who batman wouldn't prep up in a fight.

Essentially he is batman's achilles heel.

He's also about the ultimate in (normal) human development in the DC universe. He's about as strong, quick, agile, and fit as a normal human can be in the DC universe.

I'd say they're about even, but its tough to say who would win. They know each other and each other's moves too well. Nightwing has come a long way since he was Robin. And about the quote which says Tim is the best Robin, I never interpreted that as saying he was better than Dick, because Dick is no longer Robin.

I dont think it was a question of Bruce underestimating Dick as much as it was Bruce not wanting to hurt him. I mean, who knows Nightwing's abilities better than the man who trained him?

Yes. In this issue, Bane rolled all over Nightwing with relative ease, however, Batman defeated Bane quite soundly.
