anyone familiar with 11:11?

this might remind a lot of people about Jim Carrey's last movie "the number 23" but my case isn't nearly that extreme, hehe.

more than a year ago my friend told me about how he keeps seeing 11's everywhere and i called his bluff. after that he started letting me know everytime he sees an 11. i tried to stay skeptical but he convinced me one night. we were watching youtube and the person on the video said "eleven" on the 1 minute 11 second mark at 9:11PM.

so he showed me a book called "coversations with god" and i read it...after i read it, i slowly started to notice 11's as well. i'd take my lunch break at the food court in the mall and get back at 1:11. i'd wake up in the middle of the night for no reason at 3:11. one time i was driving, not feeling too good about myself and pulled up to the Burger King drive-on behind a car that had my initials on it then "811" (8 used to be my favorite number...now it's 11, hehe).

now all that could just be coincidence right? well, the same friend was telling me how he ended up where he is in his life and one of his friends called him...at 4:11. he started chit chatting with his friend so i goofed off on the computer while he talked to his friend. i checked my gmail to see that i had 11 new messages. i showed him and he talked to his friend for a couple more minutes and when he hung up they had been talking for 11 minutes and 11 seconds! then he called his friend back to tell him what just happened (his friend knows about the 11's too) and hung up at 11 seconds. it was trippy...

...anyway, i'm fascinated by this number! is anyone else seeing anything remotely similar to what i'm seein'? if you're skeptical (as i was) why do you think i'm seeing 11's everywhere?

The only thing I've heard abotu 11:11 was BS about making a wish exactly at the time and finishing before the 11th second occured. It's supposed to come true they say.

I see the #33 everywhere. Here's some of things that have happened.

For about a year now I would look at the clock at it would say 3:33(I still see it to this very day). I thought to myself it was just a coincedence. Then this past December I learned of Jim Carry's movie "The Number 23".

So I started to look at some of the things about me that would go with that number.

My birthday is 4/5/1986 4 + 5 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 6 = 33.
I added up my driver's license number it was 33.
My social security # adds up to the number 33.
My baseball number is 13. 1/3 = .33333

I don't know what to think of it.

that's close to what i've researched. if you goto google and type "11:11" the first link will take you to a page that basically says that whenever i see an 11 or certain patterns in numbers (3:33, 12:34) then it means some kind of entity is trying to contact you. that page says they're kind of like guardian angels and they call them the "midwayers".

supposedly it's their way of letting you know that you're on the right path...

alot of things though you can make add up to w/e number if you want it to, like i remember hearing someone talking about the antichrist, and how it was interesting that Nero spelled with numbers or something comes to 666, so i talked with some nerds at school about it, and they informed me how any name can be turned into 666 if u want it to, and that in history they did the same thing with Napolean and Hitler. you just have to want to make w/e your looking for end up with your number

haha, good point...but i try to be fair when looking at it. if you're constantly looking for it then it's obvious that you see it because you WANT to, but i don't look for it. it just happens. i'll be in deep concentration when i'm drawing then i'll take a break and notice that the time is 6:11 or something so i'll consider that kinda weird but if i see the clock at like...3:09 then i know 3:11 is only 2 minutes away so that won't count.

i try to be subjective and skeptical but i've had quite a few moments that've just freaked me out...

the number 138 has popped up quite a bit in my life, but it's nothing mystical, just coincidence...you guys need to stop jumping to the "OMG SUpernaturALZ!!!!" conclusion with all this...there's only x amount of numbers that are commenly used out there, you're bound to notice them if you get it into your head that they're something to be noticed.
