anyone familiar with 11:11?

I keep seeing 11 aswell.

For like 5 nights in a row i'd look at my digital clock and it would say 11:11. Then I got the 211 bus and arrived at 11:11. I started freaking out, so researched it and it turns out to be some religious thing but I didnt read much into it.

Then I started seeing lots of doubled numbers. Like 12:12 and 15:15.

I dont know whether its a coincidence or not but its freaky.

it's not really a religious thing...it's more of a spiritual thing. supposedly they're trying to contact you because u're on the "right path" or somethin' like that. if you wanna know more check this page out...

funny thing is...i tried that before. my favorite number used to be 8, but 8 is too easy so i looked for 44 instead (4 + 4 = 8). i would pay attention to the numbers i looked for but 44 hardly ever came up...but the 11's kept appearing.

the real numbers are 0-9 together they make infinite combinations

due to the way a digital clock works there is a maximum of 4 numbers
it can never be 0000
the last 4 numbers can not be above 59
i'm sure our friends of math can give u the true number of probability there

I've seen this happening for about 5 years and I'm not a pothead, a conspiracist, paranoid or otherwise nutty. I am in fact a pretty skeptical person.

But it apparently doesn't affect everyone. Though why should it?

And it seems to come and go. It won't happen for weeks, and then there it is all over the place for several days.

Yep. Pretty funny that I happened to check out the board right before 11:11. That didn't occur to me til a minute or so after I posted when I walked past the clock.

Yeah, it's all coincidence. It's just my subconscious connecting dots. I've programmed myself to look at the clock twice every day at 11:11. Friends and family frequently call me at that minute as part of a massive plan to make me nutty.

well if you would go back and read my posts you'll see that i've stated that i try to be skeptical about this. i've tried to not pay so much attention to what time it is. when i'm work the only times i look at the clock are after i've been working for a while and need a break. i'm trying to keep the mindset that these 11's that i'm seeing are just because 11 is a number we see daily just like 5, 33, 28, etc...but like i said, there are times where it's uncanny. for instance...there are many MANY times where i'll be watching a UFC fight and i'll happen to glance at the countdown clock once it hits 1:11 seconds left.

in other words...i'm not actively LOOKING for 11's like those people look for codes in bibles. i'm trying to disprove myself by saying to myself "that doesn't count" or "well EVERYONE can see that 11" but these kinda weird instances where i just HAPPEN to see 11 happen to me quite often.

and it's not JUST 11. i've said before that strange occurrences have happened with different numbers as well. my buddy turned 40 in january and we were watching tv the day before his birthday, so i asked him how he felt about the big 4-O and he jokingly told me shove it up my ass. the moment he told me to shutup a commercial came on tv and asked "are you 40 years old or older?" we started busting out laughing because the timing was soooo perfect...almost as if the tv knew what we were talking about. it was really weird but i shyt you not....that's a bona fide true story.

exactly, i think the way you think....i remain skeptical but open. i'm glad there's someone here that can relate....it's kinda hard to present a case when there's no one else to vouch for it. especially when people aren't open to the case in the first place...
