    Never seen it before. Thinking about seeing it in XD tonight, but damn, 3 hour movie from the 60's??

    I know it's a classic and multipe award-winning, but does it still hold up?

    I'd go if I had the time. That's a film that I wish I could've seen on the big screen for my first viewing. David Lean painted on a huge canvas, and like his Lawrence of Arabia, I'm not sure you've gotten the full effect unless you've seen it on the big screen.
