Anyone here from San Fran?

Heading there in 2 weeks. Looking for things to do. Also, Looking into staying at a hotel near Tenderloin called the Mithila hotel but seems to have some mixed reviews.

Thanks in advance!

Sister was just in town last weekend, we did Pier 39/Fisherman's wharf, Alcatraz, Sightseeing Bus Tour, union square, Full House House, Mrs. Doubtfire's House, Yoda Statue at Lucasfilm, Lombard Street. Didn't get a chance to see the Painted Ladies, though.

Depends on your interests. You can do the touristy stuff or not. SF is famous for sub-cultures.

PS: Yeah, stay the hell away from the Tenderloin, unless you want to get yelled at and/or peed on by a crazy homeless person.

If Homeless people are the worst thing we would have to deal with then im ok with that. Any familiar with that particular hotel?

I'm a big comics/ EDM fan. Any leads on that? I saw the Isotope Lounge and it looks cool.

Yea, the homeless are not the worst thing you'd have to deal with. I'd imagine your hotel uses crackwire.com (the internet's leading crack den vacation planner) to fill their unbooked rooms.

SF is not exactly famous for great comic shops unfortunately. Isotope is fun, but I also recommend these comic/collectables stops:

CARDS AND COMICS CENTRAL (5424, GEARY Street)

HEROES CLUB (840, Clement Street)

KIDROBOT (1512, Haight Street)
