I'm looking for good superhero computer games sort of like make your own hero.

I've played COH and it was alright but nothing special not really what im looking for I don't want a MORPG the probably isn't anything out there but I figure it is worth a try.

Freedom Force 1 and Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich. Really great games, I guarantee you'll like them.

Where can I find these games ? Are they avalible to download or are the retail ?

PS Love your signature.

You can probably find them in any BestBuy. The original may be harder to find, but you can always get it on Amazon.

And don't skip it, it's the closest thing to Stan Lee's origin tales as you can get. It's a truly brilliant series.

This looks fun and I will play it but it isn't exactly what i am looking for.

There are a few things that would be nice I don't necesarrily need all of these things just one or two

1. Create a superhero
2. A sort of simulation game where I can make decissions
3. Open Ended I could play it for a year if I wanted and not run in to an end
4. If I can't create charecters im looking for something with already existing big to semi big names.

All of those would be nice but any one of them by them self would be cool. The most important ones are 1 and 2 or 1 and 3

If you have Microsoft Paint on your computer (you do) you can make your own characters using a relatively simple character editor. And if you have 3D Studio Max (you probably don't) you can even make your own models.

You'll never have to though, because the base models in Freedom Force have good versatility.

no much of a computer game player but the only game i have is zoo tycoon.
one of my favorite games.

Diablo II, and it's supplemental game, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

Probably the best action/rpg game out there, because there is so many ways to customize your characters.

It's still in the top 10 games for walkthru's on Gamefaqs.

Diablo isn't much of a superhero game. I just really want a game where I can make decissions as a hero and live the hero's life I don't care if the graphics are good hell it can be text based for all I care. Hell I am a wrestling fan and there is a wrestling game that I just fell in love with and it's basically text based it's just fun it's called Total Extreme Wrestling it's just you own or book for a company and you make all the decisions there are no real graphics you dont watch the matches or anything but it's still very fun. Graphics would be nice but like I said I mostly just want to make a Hero and fight crime with him and make his decisions for him.

CoH was a nice game but it lacked in reply value it got old and repetitive It was very easy and in the end it seemed just like any other game just the title says hero not to mention the monthly fee that I just couldn't afford anymore on top of player Everquest.

City of Heroes.
It's an mmorpg, if you're looking for a good one based on Superheroes, this is it.

Given these parameters there is no such game on the PC (or console for that matter). Freedom force does come closest though.

That sucks I mean ill play freedom force I just really don't want a game where I have to follow levels or stages or what ever they call it in freedom force the pre determined villians that every time you play it's going to be the same thing.

I would probably still play CoH I just can't afford it.

Deus Ex, one of the best RPGs ever made, and it's cheap and near impossible to find a computer that can't run it. In it, JC Denton has "super powers" (called augmentations) and he uses it to save the world from Villiany (called MJ12), buy it.

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, plays like Deus Ex in a slightly less cool but still awesome setting with much better visuals/audio, pretty cheap, and pretty easy system requirements compared to stuff like Crysis. In it, your vampire has super power (called diciplines) and uses them to save the world from villiany (called the Kuei Jin, Camarilla, or Anarchs depending on what you do). Buy it.

I realize they aren't really super hero games, but I have to recommend whenever the chance pops up. As for actual "create a hero games", I think Freedom Force is pretty much your only option other than officially licensed hero games, and then you don't really create your own, so I guess that wouldn't count. It's a really narrow genre

Im a little suprised I was really hopeing to find some underground game that a few people knew abouot lol those are usually the best. I surpised that even the underground has ignored the superheros.

It really just depends on what you want by saying "super hero". If you just mean "guy who does stuff that guys usually can't and saves the world somehow", there are a ton of those out there, pretty much every game around is one in one way or another. If you want tights and capes though, you're out of luck. No one buys superhero games without a big license behind them anyways.

What you want is either Freedom force or CoH. Pretty much the only other Superhero games are Activisions Marvel stuff.

It doesn't really have to be tights and capes but to create a charecter is the most important thing and open ended would be nice I want to be able to help people/ Save the world but with some one I create and not have to follow any real specific storyline I just hate the whole You have to do this and have to do that.

Guild Wars.
MMORPG, but there is no monthly fee.

What an amazing concept an MMORPG that has no monthly fee that's amazing now it makes me wonder will it be good ? Let me check this one out I hope this is close enough to what I am looking for im doubting it by the name but lets find out what in a name anyway? Right?

Is there any way to play it off line or is it online only?
