My fiance and I are looking to find a place to live. We're wanting to find a place somewhere between Trenton/Hamilton and Atlantic City. Know any good places/towns with decent rent prices?

My bro lives in South River and never complained about the prices of apartments.

I live in NJ. While they are trying to build up Atlantic City, and trust me it's like at least 50% better than what it use to be, you're talking about a huge area. You really don't want to move to either city.

But between Trenton and Atlantic City? That's at least 2 hours in between.

Cherry Hill is good.

The closer you get to the shore, the more expensive houses are going to be.

Tom's River is alright too.

If you move north of Trenton. Lawrenceville, Princeton and Plainsboro are nice areas.

Don't ask me about prices though.

I grew up in Hamilton and it's a very nice place. I'm going to live in New Brunswick next year, which is also nice. I'm not much for South Jersey, it's all hilly and country-like.

South River, Cherry Hill, and Tom's River. Cool, thanks.

Erzengel, should I not ask about prices because you dont know, or because you dont want to make me cry?

Honestly, it is cheaper to live in South Jersey than it is to live in Central to Northern Jersey.

I don't have exact prices but that's typically how it goes.

Unless however, you want to live at one of the beach towns. Those are kinda expensive even for small homes.

Cherry Hill is nice, as is Marlton, Cinnaminson, Delran, and Mount Laurel. Prices for a place range from $700-1200 a month.
