Being a person who already has a phone with one of those touch screens I don't think I'll be getting one. The screens are nice, but they can be a pain in the butt...especially when dialing a phone. Don't ask me why but it always seems more difficult to dial the phone with no actual buttons to push. *shrug* Unless that screen really is as revolutionary as they say then I'll be staying away from it.

I got an LG Chocolate and am completely happy with that.

It was 100 dollars, this is 500 and you are stuck with Cingular.

all things considered I'd rather be "stuck with Cingular" than getting shafted by Verizon and all of their little hidden charges. Worst phone experience of my life.

As for the iPhone, it looks sweet. A bit pricey, but so were iPods when they first came out. Doesnyt make much sense to carry around a phone and an mp3 player if you dont have to

No 3G, not enough memory and no memory expansion capabilities are enough for me to wait on this product. I bought a Cingular 8525 instead. Maybe in a year or two I'll consider.

That was my first thought. I wanna buy a 360 soon, anway. This will be high on my list over the next couple of years, though. Especially once more memory has been added.

4 and 8 gigs is pretty good for songs. Kinda small for video (about a dozen-16 shows or 3-6 movies, give or take).

Five hours of battery life (which I assume is active life and doesn't count resting time).

8 gigs is nowhere big enough for my music...my 30 gig only has 7 left, and I still have alot of stuff I want to put on it
