Good to see Avengers: The Initiative at #6.

Sad to see Nova #1 at #53, though it's consistent with Annihilation's numbers.

Omega Flight at #39 is promising for the Flight fans me thinks.

I'm sure DC can't be happy with Brave and the Bold at #37. Sad too considering that was the Blue Beetle/Batman team-up.

Punisher War Journal and Iron Fist have settled in their respective spots the last couple of months, so that's a good sign for fans of each book.

For all the *****ing JLA gets, it's a consistent top 3 book. Must say a lot really.

And it's interesting to see that New edges out Mighty Avengers, seems consistent with the opinions on this board.

Ha, Slott beat Bendis twice. Pwned.

God, Darth, you're such a nerd for caring about Marvel's sales. If Nova was any good, it would selling in the Top Ten. :o

Wow, I just noticed that Marvel has 4 Avengers books in the top 10, they really are the new X-Men.

Seriously, the 53rd slot is surprising, at least for me. It was a debut issue, AND it had an Adi Granov cover. Should've at least been in the top 25.

Also, New Avengers beating out Mighty is surprising. Well, maybe it's not. Wolverine and Spider-Man still have the "star" power, I suppose.

Wasn't issue #1 of Iron Fist around 50-ish?

Yeah, and it's sold consistently around there, which is a lot better than debuting high and then free falling, well at least to me.

I really shouldn't be surprised, but it's always a shock to me to see Superman/Batman selling so high every month. Hell, I like the book, but it's not that great quality wise.

I mean, theirs hope for Nova because it only made it to 53rd.

Isn't like, Pat Lee drawing that book?

Oh and of course, it's so good to see Wolverine: Origins at #28. I hhave to check last month's numbers, but that seems like a pretty big drop.

Ok, I checked and Wolverine: Origins was #23 last month, probably sold the same just with the influx of World War III and Fallen Son.

And in other good news, X-Factor is at the same exact spot from last month.

Did Avengers: The Initiative #1 sell out? I can't remember.

I speak spanish, does that help?

I think it did, long before the issue even came out actually.

The first issue selling out before it debuted was what turned it into an ongoing.

28th ~ Wolverine Origins

87th ~ The Spirit

Looking at the monthly sales charts and getting angry go hand in hand.

I not too surprised now....but, Marvel really hit it big getting Stephen King onboard for his Dark Tower comic. When I went into the LCS at Pike Place Market in Seattle, I saw four people come into the store to buy three issues of title (one of them were sold out, otherwise they would have sold four)...and, two of them were women! If they did sales charts at that store, the top books for the month would probably be those four issues, regardless of whether it's a reprint or not.

52 continually drops on the chart each month...it will be interesting the difference of sales in issue #1 of 52 and issue #51 of Countdown. It is fitting that DC's best title is in the top ten, Justice League of America.

I don't understand why Superman/Batman is so high, still. And, X-Men (the worst of the X-Men titles currently being released) should not be as high as it is.

I'm not surprised with Nova. He's never been successful in his own title, his name doesn't make people run out and grab his book, and he would only be grabbing sales from those who followed Annihilation, which was never as high as it should have been on the chart, anyway. Maybe by linknig it up with Civil War, it's sales will go up. But, it's Nova...what do you expect?

Finally, great to see Death Dealer #1 charting so high. It's well deserved.
