On a side note, I wish the movie "junk" was understated the same way you did. But I would have liked it even more if he wore the banana hammock the whole time.

It's there in the novel, I don't see why it should be hidden in the film.

I didn't read the graphic novel, but after watching the movie I saw a lot of squid debate on the net. Read up a bit so kinda understand it. So thought I'd make my entry of Rorschach spying on Ozymandias buying a squid heh.

Journal entry March 24th followed Ozzy to street market and watch him force feed extremely large woman a squid...I don't trust him something's wrong here...he shouldn't have had to force her she's as big as a whale...so the question is what's wrong with the squid, or do whales not like squid?

Of course I recommend you pick up the novel, as I was one of the people who was crushed by the disappointing ending of the film (and no, not just because of the squid...or more appropriately the idea behind the squid).

I wouldn't mind picking it up eventually. I've heard enough good things over the last few years that I was alrdy tempted, in fact that's why I watched the movie. Thing is tho that I'm burnt out on comics atm after WWH. So if I ever pick it up it'll have to be after I'm back into them again. When I'm temp burnt out on a particular medium it's hard to pick up something even if i know I'll enjoy it.

Ooopsy! Sorry about the double post. Anyways, here's mine coloured. Tried to eminate the style of the graphic novel with really dodgy results.

It's gender switching time! (Im sure alan moore would be rolling in his grave at this heinous crime against art if he was dead, but meh. A male hero called 'silk spectre' is just too silly for me to resist drawing it.)
