It basically all the footage they have chopped together with unfinished special effects to give the studio a rough idea of what they've got, its not the finished product. Articles around the net are saying that additional footage filmed a few months ago hasn't been put into this rough cut either so I dont get how so many people can be judging the quality of this movie already without having seen the final cut

Two pranks which i honestly fell for

The Future of 3D Is...3D?
By Garth Franklin Wednesday April 1st 2009 12:10AM

Move over 3D, your technology has been beaten by...3D. Chinese manufacturer Zazhong Electronics demonstrated a concept theatrical exhibition method in Hong Kong yesterday that allows for 3D presentation of shows and feature films without the need for special glasses reports AN Wire

Dubbed 'Tru-2-Life', the technology requires the installation of a special display screen in theaters which essentially carries out the 3D effect without the need for polarized glasses and without the flickering and refresh rate problems that cause headaches, eye strain and nausea with current 3D technology.

Unlike 3D-TV technology currently being worked on by Sharp and Philips, the process also allows for 'full-angle viewing' which means a viewer gets slightly different views corresponding to the different angles wherever they're sitting.

The company is working on a home cinema version, a screen that fits over the top of your current digital TV and will have the same effect. Expect the theatrical version to start rolling out next year.

Miller, Pacino Join "Bioshock"
By Garth Franklin Wednesday April 1st 2009 12:09AM

"Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller and Oscar-winner Al Pacino have joined the cast of Gore Verbinski's "Bioshock" for Universal Pictures reports The Chicago News Dispatcher.

Based on the best-selling 2007 video game, the story is set in the 1960's when a plane crashes in the middle of the Atlantic. Jack (Miller), the sole survivor, discovers a lighthouse which leads down to Rapture, an underwater city built in the 1940's by a business magnate who wanted to create a scientific utopia where people could work without governmental or religious oversight.

Unfortunately the city has fallen into decay and madness, insane genetically mutated beings called 'Splicers' roam the halls. Only an energy that lies within various young girls can save the city, these girls however are protected by gigantic bodyguards called Big Daddies.

Pacino is in negotiations to play the magnate Andrew Ryan, while Verbinski is apparently pursuing one of his old "Pirates of the Caribbean" co-stars for a cameo as the bunny mask-wearing nutter Sander Cohen in a sequence midway through the film.

Unlike the game which is kept purely indoors, one big sequence will apparently involve a several-minute long scene underwater. The production will move into Leavesden Studios once filming on the final "Harry Potter" is complete, with the water tank built for 'Goblet of Fire' to be utilized for that underwater scene. Location filming will also take place in Malta.

Verbinski is producing from a script by John Logan.
