AquaFina is really...

If you're too much of a prude to drink "unclean" tap water, or if the water where you live isn't exactly healthy, buy one of these. The amount of pollution required to ship a bottle of tap water across the continent, as well as the money you are throwing away by buying this "pure" water, can easily be fixed.

Amen brother, amen.

:o I have one of those......................:cwink: and honestly it tastes the same to me..........................................I drink Fiji bottled water more than anything else, and I can tell the difference with bottled water........I put different flavors in the bottled water, and Fiji tastes the best with and without the flavors......

where I live. it's worth it. The water is salty here. We have to use a water softener but it still not as good as Aquafina. I don't care if it is tap water. It tastes better than the water coming out of my faucet. And it's in a conveinent bottle with a screw on lid.

We have a Britta under-the-counter filter for our kitchen tap that works wonderfully and has paid for itself many times over. We fill up a 1.5 gallon water container with a spout on it that we keep in the fridge and use for drinking water. The only time I'll drink bottled water is when I'm travelling and then it's always Fiji or Crystal Geyser.

Just to clear things up-Aquafinas original source is tap water, but it still goes through a charcoal purification system. When I caught this on CNN I was suprised people were suprised.Dont people read labels anymore? They never claimed it was natural "spring" water

I guess they don't read labels........If it is "purified" water......then it has gone through a purification process, but was once.....just tap water.

If more people took the time to actually read the labels of the crap they put in their bodies (and the time to learn what all those fancy chemicals really are and the effects they can have on someone over time with prolonged consumption), 3/4's of the consumables market would collapse.

I eat very little that's processed, very little sugar or salt, mostly organic, fresh whole foods and drink 1-1.5 gallons of water per day. I cleaned up my diet big time about 2 1/2 years ago to support my weight lifting habit. Everyone wants to learn how to do what I've done to get the results I've gotten....until I start telling them what they'll need to eat and how they'll need to exercise to get it. Then they lose interest because it takes effort and planning. Americans are all about convenience and would rather eat crap than have to spend some time preparing a meal or a snack. Still, most of them have no idea how all the things they put into our food supply truly and actually effect them: gastrointestinal diseases, hormonal imbalances, immune system degradation. skin, respiratory and heart diseases...the list is endless. All because people wont eat quality foods.

We've covered a lot of the nutrition stuff in the Fitness Thread already. It's a HUGE thread but well worth reading for anyone interested in getting into shape, staying in shape or cleaning up their diet (the two go hand in hand as far as I'm concerned).

And, yes, they're starting to really delve into the effects of all the inoculations that are given to kids. A little late, if you ask me, but at least they're doing it. That's why there's such an uproar over this vaccine that supposedly prevents a certain form of cervical cancer in young women or something along those lines. Apparently the results studies are incredibly mixed on it and a lot of women are rallying against it for this reason.

People seriously give no real thought to what they put into their bodies. It's either laziness, apathy or no real willingness to question the "experts" and do some research for themselves instead.

Bottled water is convient for the road or on a trip. At home it's such a waste.

Zephryhills is the best water, and it's all natural.

What's funny too, is that a lot of organic, or non processed, not treated with growth hormone food items are not only better, but last a lot longer too.

Milk, Eggs, Oj, that's just a short list.

i love fiji...but its so damn expensive.

i guess there's not a lot of evian fans.
