Reviews from RT critics:

Jenna Busch, Scott Menzel and Scott O'Connell are RT-approved critic, so their reviews will be counted no matter published or not:

Critics below only have their reviews counted if their reviews are published at the designated publications.

Germain Lussier from Slashfilm/ io9: Positive

Andrew Dyce from ScreenRant: Positive

Eric Eisenberg from CinemaBlend: Positive

Jim Vejvoda/ Mike Rougeau/ Tom Jorgensen from IGN (so only 1 review is counted): Positive

Terri Schwartz from IGN and Zap2zip: Positive

Erik Davis from CinemaCritical/ Movie.com: Positive

Spencer Perry from ComingSoon.net: Positive

Peter Sciretta from Slashfilm: Positive

Mike Cecchini from Den of Geek: Positive

Scott Wampler from Birth.Movies.Death: Positive

Dan Casey from Nerdist: Positive

From the above it sounds like we will be off to a great start.

Scott Wampler from Birth.Movies.Death: Positive

Lol Scott Wampler has admitted that he hasn't actually seen the movie. He was probably just trying to get movie sites to quote his insult to Trump... and clearly he succeeded. :hehe:

EDIT: Proof

Another positive for RT!

btw why do these people use that one gif lol I personally made like a hundred different ones

RT critic. You would think that this is unique is a good thing but he is a Snyder fanboy so who knows what's going on inside his head

It's so dumb!

And yet expected of them :lmao:

So far the reception seems good enough for a majority of fresh reviews unless the critics decide they are just too serious to give fresh review to a movie where octopus plays drums

I'm quite confident based off of what we've seen so far. The octopus sounds hilarious - I am so looking forward to seeing it! Weird and wonderful stuff like that we have seen in the original SW films too so I don't think they will put a huge amount of reviewers off if the film is overall good and entertaining.

I've seen quite a bit of those snobs making fun of that on twitter. And Nicole's lines.

I hate them so much :lmao:

Remember guys, first rule of hype.. Critics are always right.

No need for anyone to freak out. This is nearly an exact copy of what happened with Wonder Woman last year. They’re even releasing reviews a full 10 days before it hits theaters in the U.S. and I believe for WW it was about a week ahead of release.

ya funny how WW had to release the full reviews I think it was a Sunday because they wanted to release it during the festival holidays in Taiwan...and the RT was brilliant =)

This time AM has messed up release dates and they're releasing the full reviews a lot earlier before the US release too.

We don't see the movie until the 26th here, @$#$2!$!@

They are quickly restoring my confidence within the DCEU especially if Aquaman is getting such great reviews...then they can truly use this film to rebuild the DCEU as a shared universe by slowly building towards either a Justice League sequel or reboot altogether. They are building the world of Atlantis here and they more or less have done a good job of that. To think some critics compared Aquaman to a Phase 1 MCU film and to tell you the truth it kind of feels that way but at the same time Aquaman is great because of the writing but also because of James Wan. The DCEU...they should just give the reigns over to Wan for every film going forward.

I'd prefer Patty Jenkins, to tell you the truth.

What date exactly will the RT critics embargo lift?
