I have a question.. is it more expensive to make movies in 3D rather than 2D?
Yes....
I work at Best Buy, in the home theater dept.
How good is the quality?
Something tells me it won't be that great until a few years down the road. Do you think it's worth buying if you really enjoy 3D?
cool.Yes....

i am not expert but history is proof. that everything that comes out in the beginning is basicly ''beta''. they are throwing things out and then 3 years later they will do something that they could have done in the beginning. so when the first 3D TV's will get cheaper they wil lrealese something that is better and more practical. but then they will again be expensive. How good is the quality?

some theaters are starting to force us into 3D.But the great thing? You can do what I do and skip 'em in that format, see them in 2D and save $3 while you're at it. Great thinking.

The big deal with Avatar was not the 3D (it has been around for a long time) it was the new technology in special effects that really wowed. Without those new effects, Cameron could never have created an entire world on which to base the movie.
Clash Of The Titans which wasn't gonna be 3D got pushed back a week just so they could make it that way. They're even talking about making the fourth Twilight movie in 3D. Now that is really pushing it.
Twilight is going to be realesed in IMAX.WTF!!!!![]()
