Superman Returns Are the clips edited??!

I thought about this long and hard!
He's assumingly flying through the roof of the elevator, and continues through the roof of the Daily Planet, right...Howcome we dont see this then!!?? Are the clips edited together? And another thing, howcome he feels the need to destroy an elevator AND a roof, when he could as easily go outside, and run down an alley, ANY alley! And dont say that it would be too risky or whatever, cause so is flying UP, when the elevator doors aren't even fully closed yet!!! (just stupid!) Even more so (and you can't deny this is DUMB), why does he rip off his Clark Kent cloths, only to let it fall down to the elevator again, where he's just left behind a HUGE hole plus a hole in the roof of the building! That's not too suspicious, no no...

My brother and I thought about this when watching the clip. Howcome we dont see him fly THROUGH the elevator roof AND the roof off the building!! Not seeing that only leaves one wondering... And people WANNA see that.

Another thing that leaves me to wonder if the clips are edited, is the fact that when supes fly through the roof of the Daily Planet, he flies STRAIGHT UP!!! and I mean UP above the clouds.. yet the next we see is him flying, coming out of Metropolis just above the water. If the clips aren't edited, then what the hell is he doing there, when he's just flew up above the clouds, ya know!! How does this work, and what's your thoughts about all of this?

you're pointing out continuity errors. oh boy are we gonna have a field day on that one.

i think im gonna wait and watch the movie first before saying anything on the matter. stuff from the trailers and featurettes can be different from what actually ends up in the film, so we'll see.

but i'll give you this: when Supe's dropped his dress shirt down the elevator shaft i was just thinking if he puts it back on he's gonna look like a grease monkey instead of an investigative reporter

It is superman he can fly at whatever altitude he wants, just because he takes off at such a high altitude does not mean he does not change it in mid flight! Plus when he is flying over the ocean you have no idea how high he is in the first place because he is miles and niles away from land considering the speed he was going.

See that's really what I'm hoping is true! I read the description of the thing when it came on-line and I pretty much remember reading that you actually see this, and I hope that you do... I'm not gonna bite my nails if we dont see it, cause it wont ruin anything, the movie will be superb.. But it does bug me a little bit.. I wish we could hear confirmation from someone who's truely seen this flick... But somehow I doubt that we see him actually braking through the roof.. we see it clearly when he's flying up in the sky, starting off with seeing him like a little dot bursting out from the roof of the planet.. I just think it's a bit of a shame that we dont see it, cause it WILL leave people wondering a bit.

If they don't show it then people will just assume he broke through the roof in my opinion. I can't speak for other people though.

Yes, all the clips are edited. They're saving the best details for when you watch the movie. When you think you saw the scene, you'll find out a couple of new stuff.

In short, hold your pee. No bathroom breaks. NONE of the clips are there to spoil your surprises, but just to give you a taste.
