Are theives staking out my house?

Well, seeing as how you feel like you might get robbed.

Get some renter's insurance or home insurance.

Make sure your equipment is covered with a custom coverage.

Problem solved.
landmines and a moat, maybe some gun mounts. at the very least the moat will keep the black knight at bay

Renter's insurance was one of the first things i got, before i even signed the lease.

I'm not too worried about the situation. They know I saw them - clear enough to recognize em. But I will admit, I am somewhat jumpy. I've only been in this house for a few days and its the first time not living with family or roommates, so the quiet isolation intensifies things somewhat.

The suburbs are definitely more dangerous than the city nowadays.

Mmmm, yes. A moat. A leashed T. Rex would be a smart investment as well.
but you have to feed it and they only eat midgets from what i hear. that seems like a lot of money to spend on midgets, clean up, court fees, lawyer fees, and what kind of permits you would need to have a T. Rex.

Don't squash my dreams with your cold, unloving logic, Puff&Stuff...

I'd imagine that they always were in some ways. In the city if something goes down, somebody's bound to have seen or heard something. In the suburbs, not so much.
