Are there any *good* Star Wars comics out there?

As most of you probably don't know, aside from being a comic fan, I'm pretty big Star Wars fanboy as well. And as such, I've tried one or two SW TPBs over the years - Tales of the Jedi, Dark Empire, and so forth - and have been disappointed with pretty much every single one of them.

But, I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'm still looking for some kind of good Star Wars comic series out there. Are there any? Is anyone here reading Legacy or Rebellion or KOTOR?

Legacy's gotta be one of the best SW comics I've read in a long while. I'm reading KOTOR as well, but there are times when I feel that you need to play the original game first to fully understand and appreciate the story.

Hmm, thanks. I'll pre-order the Legacy TPB. I think I recall some others praising it as well.

How about the Rebellion series? With that being in the OT-era, I'm really hoping it's good.

I was always pretty fond of the original X-Wing Rogue Squadron series. I tend to generally dislike the Jedi-centered stories. Makes being one seem less special when everyone and their grandma is swinging a lightsaber.

I can't get into them. KOTOR was good I guess, I only read the first 6 issues though.

I read the first trade of Star Wars Empire and it was pretty good.

Crimson Empire. BUY IT!

By far one of the best Star Wars stories, film, novel, comic, or otherwise. Deals with the last survivng Royal Gaurd and his quest to avenge the Emporer's death. Brilliant in every sence.

There's also a handbook, a one shot that happens afterwards, and a sequel, and a recent action figure 2 pack.
The handbook is nifty, the one shot is alright(Kenix Kil), and the sequel is horrid(Council of Blood). A third was planned(a short preview even exists of it, but is extremely hard to find), but was cancelled after the second story sucked so much.

I'm reading KOTOR, haven't missed an issue yet. I want to get into Rebellion, and I read the first 2 issues of Legacies then stoped. Legacies just pisses me off. The Empire back into control? That's ******ed.

Legacy has been good. I'm liking Dark Times too, although it seems to be late. The last issue came out in November or December of last year I think and the next one isn't scheduled to come out until April.

Good Star Wars comics?

Yeah...the OT Manga. You might already know how it ends, but the art is sweet. Definitely the best comic adaptation of anything Star Wars.

I liked clone wars but my problem with them was continuity.ofcourse with star wars you cant expect much in the way of continuity but still.
