The Wolverine "Are These All The Reviews You Brought?" -The Official Review Thread

From Bleeding Cool

This is a good film. It’s not quite as good as it wants to be. But it ain’t just another superhero flick, and you’ve got to reward that ambition. Besides; it’s a whole lot better than the first Wolverine solo joint.

These reviews have me very excited.and Poni_Boy review has me really pumped for post
credit scene.

Not to sound like a fanboy already, ah damn it I will anyway, but those two negative reviews are from british newspapers, they could not review their way out of a paper bag.

No journalist worth a thing wants to end up doing film reviews for a british newspaper, its where you go when your career is heading down a deadend and you cant get a proper journalistic job in sports or politics, thats just the way british newspapers work.

Actual proper film journalists can be trusted however and the fact that Empire and Total Film liked the film gives me great confidence. Even more importantly actual comic book fans who have seen it seem to like it even more, like Poni-Boy, so this gives me great confidence:up:

This should be exciting to watch... hopefully this continue the way they are. Would love this to get a great RT score.

EDIT: Love the slash film video! We've always had similar tastes, so now I'm almost certain I'm going to love this film. Especially with all the talk of how subtle it is. Subtlety is what I adore about Bryan's 2 films, and what I found missing from every film since X2, including First Class.

I didnt expect to say this, but #TheWolverine was excellent. Stay seated at the end for one of the best Marvel credit stings yet!

Really enjoyed The Wolverine despite my superhero movie fatigue. It was very fun and well-made.

Pleasantly surprised by The Wolverine. It's solidly entertaining and lots of fun. Doozy of a mid-credit sequence too, stick around for it.

Saw #TheWolverine at a preview screening. Good film. Better than Origins. Great mythos nods. Fascinating storytelling. BEST. STINGER. EVER

Sam Eads ‏@SamFirstNews 11m
#TheWolverine was awesome! Even better that it was introduced by @RealHughJackman & director James Mangold in person. Wasn't expecting that!

Must say I'm very surprised that The Wolverine passed uncut at 12A. I definitely wouldn't be comfortable taking anyone under 12.

Really enjoyed #TheWolverine, good to see a superhero film with some intrigue rather that just OMGTHATBLOWSUP!!!

Good to hear, also tons of people are saying this after credit scene is amazing.

Whoa are these reviews counted on rottentomatoes? Because if they are the movie is on pace for at least a 70%.

Well...it's at 75% now :D. 3/4 that've been posted are positive

And just like that, the score is up. Prepare for a roller coaster of percentage changes.

I believe this is from our very own X-Maniac!

@TheGeekFiles: Wow! The Wolverine rocks and preview screening rocked even more when @RealHughJackman and director James @mang0ld turned up in person!
