well?
That one's good. So are the Tales of the Jedi series, which revolves around the era before, and leading up to the events in, KOTOR.X-Punisher said:Knights of the Old Republic. Thats the only star wars comics I'm reading.
Actually, the New Jedi Order series are not that bad. It started well, then it became a bit boring with stagnated storyline for a few books, then picked up the pace and became good again until the defeat of the Yuuzhan Vong. The New Jedi Order is very visceral, with quite a few of notable deaths and ravaged planets. Most people hate the celebrity deaths, but hey, it quite naturally sucks when someone we care about dies anyway. But it adds to the realism and the gritty and emotional feel of the series. The NJO series is when the Force was truly challenged.dmor173 said:anything with tag and bink is worth your time.
But the books is where the expanded universe is at. Start with the thrawn trilogy to get your hooked than start chronologically with 'the truce at bakura'.
and for the love of god, stop before the new jedi order starts.

More recent good titles would be the Clone Wars series.

oh well the chances of a sequel trilogy was rare and the movies we have are good so ok.
DBM said:That wouldn't matter. If Lucas wanted to make another trilogy he'd just ignore the books. He stated many time that he doesn't follow the expanded universe and it doesn't really affect how he makes movies.

Well, in the off-chance that Lucas will actually listen to the fans of EU (which would be around the same time Scarlet Johannson agrees to sleep with me), a sequel might work if it's done waaaaaaay after the books. Perhaps one or two generations after.boywonder13 said:I guess a sequel trilogy will never be made because it wold interfere with the books and with Star Wars Legacy where the Sith return......

The official Lucasfilm stance on the EU is that it's canon unless it directly contradicts a movie anyway. So if Lucas ever did make a third trilogy, he's already built in the understanding that whatever the movie gives you is the official, gospel truth, and whatever it f***s up with the EU just doesn't matter anymore.DBM said:That wouldn't matter.
