I agree, but there's also the fact that people will use it as an excuse to try to explain their poor decisions.

Of course, I've learned (and this is not genetic, I think) to be predisposed to look down on people who do that.

I think that's just the nature of the male specie. Our sex drive is much more consistent throughout an entire adult life, than that of a womans; and it should be. If the entire population of the world died out, and all that remained was 1 women and 5 guys, under optimal conditions, that one woman could only produce about 20 off spring. On the flip side, if there was 1 man and 5 women, that one man could impregnate each of those women, and could end up fathering 100 children in those women's life times. I know women don't like to hear this but men are genetically more inclined to cheat than women; it's the basis of biology and from a survival of the specie stand point, it makes absolute sense.
