future timelines are so screwy that you cant really ask hypothetical questions such as that. Theoretically Bishop's future shouldnt exist just on account of him coming to the past and staying so long, effectively influencing and changing numerous events. BUT we arent supposed to be thinking that wayalso...so was Jean really dead dead in Bishop's future to have NOT come back and absorbed Hope inside of her?
i hate time travel.who knows? Originally Jean died when Onslaught killed her but Bishop stopped that from happening, so we dont know exactly when she dies in his future. The only reason she is out there looking for her Phoenix fragments is bc she was prematurely resurrected in Endsong. Maybe that event never happened in Bishop's timeline. Again this is all theoretical anyway bc we all we are doing is speculating as we dont even know exactly what Hope is or her true connection to Jean if in fact there actually is one
i guess it wouldnt be that much of a stretch for the fully-powered Phoenix could do such a thing (look at the stuff Morrison did), but that kinda feels like an easy way out mutant extinction crisis. but if thats what it would have to take for the original Jean "Marvel Girl" Grey to return without that damn bird looming inside her i'd totally be behind it.I wonder if Second Coming refers to the Second Coming of Dark Phoenix. Im thining Bishop kills Cable which causes Hope to lose it and go all Dark Phoenix on everyone. She kills and causes all types of destruction with Jean coming in the end, absorbing her (bc I think she's a Phoenix fragment) and using all of her full Phoenix powers to reset things, similarly to what she did in Ultimate X-men. The damage that Hope did is undone and Mday is also reversed. Jean remains either depowered or back to her levels pre-Phoenix
If Jean comes back and kills Hope, what new kind of monster that make her, then?
So do I, sometimes. I'm still trying to figure out why Rachel Summers is alive and in her 20's again. She died of old age in Cable's time.i hate time travel.
Rachel never made it to Cable's time line. She was lost in the timestream somewhere around Excalibur 75 where she would go on to form the Askani in Cable's timeline. However when Cable defeated Apocalypse in the Twelve storyline, that future diverged from 616 and erased it as a potential future for the main reality. She wound up in an another apocalyptic timeline and Cable went and saved her. She doesnt remember anything about her time as Mother Askani aside from a few faint memories. She pretty much how she left in the mid 90sSo do I, sometimes. I'm still trying to figure out why Rachel Summers is alive and in her 20's again. She died of old age in Cable's time.
only if your a Summers or a Grey. and on ocassion a Rasputin.Half the X-Mens time is spent fighting their crazy relatives anyway.
well i he just doesn't care about anyone elses well-being besides his own. im sure hes not gonna hurt you unless you get in his way or it gets him what he wants. id say that makes him more "bad guy" than hero.is Daken a 'true' bad guy tho?
