Are you STILL hyped?

look those fights were weak in spidey 3 and the dumb crane disater thing was stupid and nothing new spidey 2 had more intense action the train scene itself blew spidey 3 away and venom why o why did they make him cry like a lil girl wtf and then have him die/defeated in the dumbest way they should have killed sandman not venom o my daughters dying and i have to steal money to get her well what was she suffering from cancer aids o and spidey crying on the bridge when mj broke up with him need i say more that had the whole theater laughing

Hyped? No. Unless a 3.1 DVD is announced. Then...we'll re-visit this discussion.

I wouldn't say hyped. I probably watch it every couple of months, so after that it lingers in my head a bit more than it used to.
If people would stop focusing on "ew, emo dance" or "wtf not enough Venom", they would really, really like this movie.

EDIT: ironwez, I can't believe you got all that out in one sentence.

I'm still excited about Spider-Man 3. I'm still excited about Superman Returns.

I still watch all 3 films with regularity. I love em'. It's always nice to think back as well, when the movies first came out. I have some awesome memories, especially of catching the midnight showings of Spidey 2 and 3. Good times!:woot:

I'm more hyped about Spider-Man 4, because I just finished reading James Vanderbilt's script...

No, i'm not hyped anymore. The movie came out awhile ago. However, I'll watch SM-3 time to time. I will be hyped again when 3.1 is announced, and once SM-4 starts to roll etc.

:wow: where was this?! did it have venom? hehe
It doesnt "exactly" have Venom. Instead it has a merging of Venom and Carnage, but they play it off nicely. He is only referred to by the Daily Bugle once as "Varange" but the scene where they come up with it is well done. Overall it should be a laugh riot come May, 2010.

I was hyped after Spider-Man 2. After that began Marvel's sh1t streak and I lost my interest.

Hopefully Iron Man cand redeem them. Don't have so much hope on TIH. PWZ is also hmm-hmm.

Nope, no interest at all.

Hyped may not be the right word, but I still very much enjoy the film, watch it every now and then (along with the previous films) and come to the Hype to read fellow fans' comments. I am strongly interested in any extended version and look forward to Spider-man 4.

EDIT: Reading previous posts, I think Kevin used the right word: excited.

agreed

I love the Spidey films, however I don't read, collect or do anything Spidey related much anymore...

now I'm way into The Dark Knight...

and Indiana Jones IV a little.. as well as Incredible Hulk and The Hobbit 1 and 2 for the next few years...

Yep, pretty much.

The worst action sequence in Spidermans 3 is the crane disaster, because they set it all up, showed this craziness happening and got me thinking "how is Spidermans going to take care of this situation?" and then it turns out he doesn't.

This is my metaphor for life.

I'll be hyped if they release a Spiderman 3: fan cut on dvd.

Well, being a big Spidey fan, I'm hyped about everything Spider-man. But sadly the only way Spider-man 3 has been brought up recently in my life is by people saying how much it "sucked". That always pisses me off.

it's true though, im not going to say it sucked, but everyone i know didn't like it either

yeah here, I thought that spider-man 3 was the best out of all 3. heck I think it's the best movie ever! and I just get really sad/mad when all I ever hear about is how much spider-man 3 sucked. it lived up to the hype for me. I wish everyone shared my joy...

on the other hand I find it strange how everyone thinks spider-man 2 is the best movie ever, where I think it's a great movie, but not as good as spider-man 3. with spider-man 2, it was boring sometimes, it's almost as long as spider-man 3 and drags on, since he stops being spider-man and stuff. although I still love all 3.
