I'd love to see another SH movie. I liked the two of them so far.

I liked the first Silent Hill film. The second film wasn't as good for me.
Interview with a Vampire was a great adaptation.

Have you seen vampire movie Byzantium? The film is directed by Neil Jordan who also directed Interview With The Vampire and The Company Of Wolves.

No I haven't. I must check this out!

Ohhh man Gemma's in it <3

I'd actually be interested in seeing a film about supernatural zombies as opposed to the ubiquitous viral zombie apocalypse films.

When playing a movie alphabet game, having lots of movies that begin with Z is helpful....so make more zombie movies as long as they start with the word zombie.

supernatural zombies? how so. like there is a sorcerer who calls forth the dead in legions to fight for him? Those who are bitten are immediately turned to fight for the legion? :jedi

Like Evil Dead or Army of Darkness? :p

After I saw Jaws as a kid, I wouldn't swim in my above ground pool for over a week because I was afraid Jaws was in there. My mom loved horror films and let me watch them at an early age haha. I also had a nightmare Jaws came out of the bathtub when I was taking a bath.

DUDE! I HAD A NIGHTMARE THAT JAWS WAS IN THE POOL I WAS IN!:funny:

Something like demons possessing the dead and wreaking havoc. I'm sure there's a few stories out there like that.

I'm sure there are some voodoo zombie movies out there. I can't think of any myself but I think some have been made.

In the Rec movies people are infected with a demonic virus.

I peaked out on them in 2005, after the Dawn of the Dead remake and Land of the Dead, both of which I liked a lot. I like stuff here and there (Zombieland, for instance), but I've had my fill. Just going "but Zombies!" doesn't trigger automatic interest anymore. All the tropes have been so thoroughly repeated and inverted. I even think Walking Dead is mostly just a tedious slog. I am burnt out.

That said, last year's The Battery was one of the best zombie movies I've ever seen.

Serpent and the Rainbow, White Zombie, and I Walked With a Zombie spring to mind.

Word, though it is worth mentioning that [rec] 2 is the one that more fully integrates the supernatural element, though both are stellar.

I think Evil Dead kinda fits that description too. Deadites are kinda zombish.

Werewolves usually scare me more than zombies. But zombies by nature tend to possess more story potential than werewolves.

Pretty much any movie made before Romero's 68' Night of the Living Dead are voodoo zombies....there are a few aliens creating zombies in some way back then.

I have several on DVD, I'll look up the titles.

I one takeaway I'm getting from this thread is that there needs to be a Sharks Vs. Zombies movie in the worst way.

Infamous Zombie versus Shark scene from 1979 film Zombi 2

There is a Canadian band called fake shark real zombie who got their name from the band mates arguing over which was real the shark or the guy dressed as a zombie in the scene from the movie.

They had that in one of them. I think it was one of the italian ones from the 70/80s.

There is some over saturation, but there are still good takes on zombies. I take the good with the bad. If there was one thing I'd change is that I'd bring back voodoo zombies.

Recently, I enjoyed Warm Bodies and the last season of The Walking Dead so I'm rather content with the zombie output. You can have both quality and quantity.

I also look forward to finally playing/watching The Last of Us and World War Z.

INFIDEL!

It's not for everyone. :p

Not until we get a faithful The Last of Us film.

Directed by GDT/ or Cuaron. :o
