These teenage exorcists have a target in their sights as they arrive in London to battle demons -- Harry Potter.

Brynne Larson, 18, Tess Sherkenback, 18, and her sister Savannah, 21, have been performing exorcisms since high school under the leadership of Brynne's father Rev. Bob Larson, who claims to have performed over 15,000 exorcisms.

BBC3's clip of the upcoming documentary "Teen Exorcists," shows the poised and photogenic trio earnestly talking to filmmaker Dan Murdoch about why they consider London a "center of witchcraft." The Arizona girls headed to London as part of their first international tour with Rev. Larson, and they believe that J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter series is responsible for an upsurge of occult activity in the U.K.

Savannah seriously weighed in on why London is full of dark forces, explaining, "I think it's been centuries in the making, but I believe it all kind of came to a pinnacle, a peak, with the Harry Potter books that have come out, and the Harry Potter rage that swept across England."

Her sister Tess agreed, commenting, "The spells and things that you're reading in the Harry Potter books? Those aren't just something that are made up-- those are actual spells. Those are things that came from witchcraft books."

"Harry is using this magic for good. So here we have the dangerous idea that you can use this magic for good or bad. Whereas in reality, all magic is bad, because you're getting your power from Satan," said Brynne.

The girls have vowed never to read the Harry Potter novels, and hope to help U.K. teenagers defend themselves from "inviting Satan to possess them by reciting the spells in the Harry Potter books."

Never read the books yet claim the spells are real

I'm not sure if they are a attention seeking quasi-religious troll group like the Phelps family or really believe this nonsense.

Harry Potter is finished, so they're a little late jumping on that bandwagon.

I'm sure it'll get them a little attention as they pose sexily with their crosses and play virtuous soldiers for God though.

Damn shame that they're somewhat attractive, now all we can bash them for is their mindset. Being ugly would've helped. :cmad:

Well ok then someone needs to be taught the difference between reality and fantasy.

So I guess they're not hyped about the quasi-prequel Warner Bros is developing?

Yeah but they couldn't have gotten TV show out of it.

Are you joking, they are promoting their reality TV show on the heals of that announcement, of course they are hyped about it. It's the best news they could have asked for.

Can you say - "ostende mihi pecuniam"

:hmm

Avada Kedevra is an actual thing? Get the **** out.

Misinformed and silly...These are the people that give (I assume they're Christians) Christians a bad name. The spells are generally based on another language to mean what they do, or just something nonsensical that J.K came up with. For instance the Conjunctivitus Curse, Conjunctivitis is the scientific name for pink-eye. Harry Potter is not from Satan girls, calm down.

Yeah! British are possessed! I blame the Beatlemania!

Look at Dr.Who, that's obviously the devil's work.

Interesting how these news came at the right time the spin-off was anounced

They don't work. I tried :csad:

It all makes sense now.

This sounds like a very clever joke or marketing stunt. I can't accept this is as true.

They kind of lost me with the Harry Potter connection. I was curious about exorcisms until that moment. I watched the interview on television and it's surprising how many people show up to be excised.

The sad thing is... I used to be just like that. I remember getting into debates with Potter-fans about how the curses were real curses and how the books were satanic. It was the church I was at putting those thoughts in my head, so I'm not surprised these girls believe it as well.

Fortunately, I was forced to take a 3-year hiatus from that church due to work (and laziness) and when I came back I realized how crazy I'd been. I switched churches, actually read the books, and now love them.

So the moral of the story is, on Sundays stay home and watch Avengers Assemble?

I could see that happening to someone who has never read the books or seen the movie , but these girls need to do a bit more research.

EDIT: No Terry. The Hulk is an allegory for demonic possession.

Hah! No. The moral of the story is that if you attend a church, make sure they aren't putting crazy thoughts in your head beyond the Biblical stories (which I admit do come across as a little crazy).

And I've not seen Avengers Assemble, but my daughter and I have been getting into Hulk: Agents of SMASH.

3 Teenage Exorcists with their father as a mentor, anybody else sees TV potencial there?
