Arms of Fate (Spider-Man story)

i cant wait for part 6. im starting to wonder about something. is this going to lead to a sinister six storyline?
 
Well I just finished reading, and I really like the direction that it's taking!
 



PART 6
A rainy/stormy night in NYC. We move to a chelsea apartment. Home of Peter Parker. Peter Parker is fast asleep. However, he seems to be having a bad dream. He starts shaking then all of a sudden, he wakes up in a deep sweat.

Peter: *Oh...oh, god! What a nightmare! I think it's time I got up.*
Peter gets up and puts on his shirt. He turns on the television as well.

Newsman: "Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus were reported brawling in the area.J. Jonah Jameson, publisher of the fast selling Daily Bugle Newspaper, says that Spider-Man caused alot of the destruction."

We then see Jameson appear on T.V. Peter just watches, with no emotion.

Jameson: "Spider-Man is just as bad as Octopus, if not worse! Spider-Man needs to be captured! Do you hear me?!!! CAPTURED!!!!"

Peter is still staring, no emotion.

Newsman: "Well there you have it! I'm----"

Peter turns off the T.V. He paces for a moment.

Peter: *All these years, Jonah has been trying to get me put in jail! What have I done to him, huh?! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!!!*

Then Peter taks both of his fasts and smashes clean through a table and punches anything he sees. Then, he slowly stops, realizing that he needs to calm down. He then, quickly, puts on his shoes, clothes, jacket, and leaves, slamming the door shut to the point where it left a little crack on the wall.

Peter is walking in the dark rainy streets of NYC.

Peter: *I don't deserve this. I mean, I saved him how many times? And he still manages ot try to make me look like the bad guy. I'd love to go up to his office and teach him a lesson, but I can't. That WOULD make me the bad guy. Ahh, well, get over yourself Parker. There are worse things at the moment.*

We then see 2 armed robbers wearing masks robbing fro ma store. Then, Peter senses it, changes into his Spidey suit and swings on over.

Robber # 1: "We got the money, now lets go already!"

Then, on their way out of the story, Spidey slids down his web, upside down. He's hanging there.

Spidey: "Going somewhere? Mind if I come?"

Then, the robbers open fire while Spidey jumps off his web and dodges
quick. He lands on a side of a building.

Spidey: "C'mon guys, put down the guns and we can have a tea party."
They open fire again while Spdiey dodges once more.

Spidey: "What, I'm not invited?!"

Then Spidey shoots a web at the guns and hands of the robbers at the same time, yanking them towards him. Spidey flips in the air and kicks both of them in the face, knocking them out instantly. Then, Spidey webs them up togeather against a light post and then the police arrive.

It's almost morning now and the rain has stopped. Everything looks pretty
nice, however, underground, it's not the same.

Mysterio: "Okay, I'm done with the main tube.

Ock's tentacle takes the cigar out of Ock's mouth.

Ock: "The heart of the device is set and ready. Now all we need to do is find a place to put it."

Mysterio: "And where's that?"

Ock: "The tallest building in NYC, you fool! The Empire State Building!"

PART 7
The Empire State Building. Tallest Building in all of Manhatten.. However, if you look closely, you can see two figures. a puff of smoke appears at the tope of the empire Sate bulding. Mysterio is there. Then, Ock is crawling up the side. Then, they both meet.

Ock: "I'll nail it into the ground. Stand aside!"

As soon as Ock's tentacles are done nailing it....

Ock: "done!"

Mysterio: "Okay, let's turn it on."

Mysterio flips the switch and an odd, moderate volume type sound is unleashed. We look in close on all of NYC. We saw that everything is normal from TImes square, to central park, to everywhere. Then, all of a sudden, peoople see lions and tigers, crocodiles everywhere. People are screaming. a Car skids off the road and into a building.

Mysterio then dissapears onto the street along with Ock.

They then appear on the steeet, just standing there. Ock is grinning, while, we are sure Mysterio is under his bowl.

Mysterio: "This..this is fantastic! I've done it! We've done it!"

Cars are crashign everywhere, people are screaming, people are getting punched! We then look inside the Daily Bugle and see everyone staring out the windows. Including a certain someone....

JJJ: "What the hell is going on out---"

All of a sudden, JJJ sees Spider-Man running at him!

JJJ: "He's coming after me!!! He's coming!!!!!!!!!"

Other people start to go crazy as well!
We then turn to another part of town, where, we find Peter parker walking down the street.

Peter: *I think I better go visit JJJ at the---*

Peter senses someone on top of a tall building in nYC ready to jump off. He also notices the chaos down the street. Cars are on fire. We see one person yell

person # 1: "death to us all!!!"

Peter: *Holy....oh my god! That guy is about to jump off that roof. I've got to save him!

Peter sprints into an alley, changes into his classic Spidey suit. However, the guy on the roof....

Guy on roof: "This is what you asked for, now you're gonig to get it!!"

He jumps off the roof, but so fast and agile like, Spidey jumps fast and catches him in mid air and shoots his web to a nearby building. He sts the poor man down.

Spidey: "Are you okay? What's happened to you? Or this whole town?"

Guy: "M-m-must k-kill s-s-self!"

Spidey just stares. He notices the mans eyes are a different color. More like white.

Spidey then jumps into the air and webzips himself fast onto another roof and can't believe his eyes. He seems to be in shock at what he sees.

Spidey: "W-what's happened?!!!"

He notices a little is running from something. Like she is about to be eatin or stabbed.

Spidey: *What the? What's that little girl running from?! I've got to save--*
Suddenly, Spidey is yelling and falls down, hands on his hears.

Spidey: "AHHHH!!! What is that?!!!! Sort of like something trying to get in brain!"

Then, Peter is shocked at what he sees. He sees his Uncle Ben. He reaches his arm out, so weak.

Spidey: "U-uncle Ben."

He goes to get up and give his Uncle a hug, then, he falls through him, off the roof and ontop of a car.

Spidey: "Ughhh! Whatever this is, I've got to fight it. And there is only one man who can creat things like this. That man is 'ol fishbowl, Mysterio!"

Spidey gets up and jumps onto the side of a building, and crawls up it to the top. He seems to be looking everywhere, jumping and swinging all over the city. He sees one car explode into the air. It's falling and it's going to land on thousands of people who are running down the street in panic of things that are not there and things that they think others are forcing them to do. Spidey jumps down and web-swings fast,. He lands on the street and catches the car.

Spidey: "Erhhh....that was a good catch, I must say."

Then, we look up on the Empire State Building.

Doc Ock: "Kick up the power!!! More mayhem! Once everyone has gone completely insane, I will take all the money and power in this city!"

Spidey then begins to feel the pain again.

Spidey: "AGHHH!!! The pain....it's trying...to make me...go crazy.......as well..."

Then, a car comes speeding down the street, turns and spins onto it's side maultiple times. Spidey doesn't have time to dodge it and it's him hard and fast, sending him into a building.

Spidey: "Can...barely feel...a-anything. I-I have to head to MJ's a-apartment...see if she's okay."

Moments later, Spidey tries to walk into and alley, costume ina few spots, he stumbles and falls. Then, he gets up, slowly takes off his web-shooters, and puts on his normal Peter clothes. Then, down a street with some, not a ton, but some people running/sprinting down the street. Houses are burning, cars are buring. Mary Jane's hosue seems unharmed though. one of only a few. Peter knocks on the door a couple of times. No one ansers, then he kicks the door down. He's still weak.

Peter: "M-mary Jane?! Mary Jane...Y-you there?!"

He then finds Mary Jane in the corner of a room, knife in her hand.

MJ: "Get my father away from me!!! Get him away!"
Peter is staggering, his eyes widen. His head is throbbing. Mary Jane doesn't even know he''s there. She's in the trance to!
Peter falls down onto the gorund. He then, slowly gets back up.

Peter: *W-what am I supposed to...do? I'Ive never....had to...face.....something like this......alone. All of my friends must be.....On No!!! A-aunt May!!!*

i love that small bit when pete sees uncle ben and falls through him realizing mysterio is up to something. cant wait for part 8. :yay:

PART 8
We zoom in on Mary Jane's apartment where...

Peter: *UGHHH! i-it- hurts!....I need...to get to....Aunt May!*

Peter falls on the floor yet again.

Peter: *I need some way to block out this...energy! I--.*

Peter sees himself being bitten by the spider on that fateful day. He then sees himself going home and finding aunt May crying.

Peter: "NOOOOO!!!!!!!"

Then, he sees Uncle Ben's killer running towards him!

Peter: "It's not...real! It's...ughhh.....not real!!!!"

Peter: *I've got to find...some..ughh. way to stop this energy! Wait a minute!*

Peter, slowly, shaking, takes his web-shooters out of his jacket and slowly puts them on. Then, he shoots webs at both ears, making very small ear plugs.

Peter: "It-it worked! It doesn't hurt anymore! Now, all I have to do is make some for MJ, then go check up on Aunt May."

Peter changes into his Spidey suit and then makes small ear plugs for MJ.
She comes out of the trance.

MJ: "W-where am I? Spider-Man?!"

Spidey: "Everything is going ot be okay, MJ. You're alright now."

Spider-Man picks up MJ and jumps onto the roof of the apartment.

MJ looks in horror at the city.

MJ: "Oh my god!! What happened?! Is Peter okay?!"

Spidey, while holding MJ in his arms...

Spidey: "He's fine, Mary Jane. C'mon, I'm taking you to the hopsital. Peter wanted me to see if his Aunt is okay."

Moments later, we find Spidey web-swinging across the city. he lands on the side of the hospital, opens the window in Aunt May's hospital room. He sets Mary Jane down and makes small web-plugs for Autn May. He then makes hundreds of them quickly.

Spidey: "If anything happens, Mary Jane, give these to everyone who you can. Keep those in your ear."

It's starting to rain again (it's turning night time).

MJ: "Be careful, Spider-Man."

Spidey nods and jumps out the window.

MJ sobs.

Spidey is web-swinging and is thinking to himself.

Spidey: *For a device to release an energy wave that wide, it would have to be placed on top of something very high with nothing above it. The Empire State Building is the place.*

Then, moments later, we see Spidey sprint up the side of the empire state building and right up to Ock and mysterio. Ock is wearing some sort of
device on his ears, while Mysterio has that bowl of his, obviously.

Ock: "Ahhh, you came, you wall-Crawling insect! I will destroy you!"

Mysterio sprays some sort of smoke at him, causing Spidey, for a moment, to be blind!

Then, Ock, looks at Mysterio.

Ock: "I don't need you any longer, Mysterio!"

ysterio: "I broke you out of prison! I could have found someone else!"

Ock: "You, Mysterio, are a smart man, but if there's one thing you need to learn, it's....never trust Doctor Octopus!"

Ock smashes Mysterios' bowl, causing Mysterio to get the energy wave put in him. He falls off the building. Spidey can see now, and he dives down off the Empire state building to catch Mysterio. He catches him in Mid air and drops him to the ground slowly. However, there is nothing inisde the suit. Mysterio tricked both Spidey and Ock. Mysterio is alive, but nobody knows where he is. Perhaps he knew Ock was going to do that. We now zoom on back on Spidey. Spidey web-zips himself up to the top of the empire sate building. Ock gets in a brawling stance along with his tentacles, while Spidey is about to dive into him with a ton of force. Lightning and thunder of the storm bursts in the background

That beginning was very nicely done.

Mysterio u clever old fiend!

So far 9/10, nice little twists every part. And my 2 fav baddies appear!
 
^^ Thanks! I tried ot make people think that Mysterio was basically nothing compared to Ock, but it's obvious he's just as good. Anyway, part 9 (final part) may be up by tonight.
 

PART 9 (CONCLUSION)
Spidey collides into Ock hard, knocking them both to the edge of the top of the mepire state building. Spidey goes to hit Ock, but Ock counters it and takes Spidey by the legs and throws him off the empire state building. Spidey shoots a web and slingshots himself back to Ock, colliding into him once again and both of them going off of the roof. However, before
Spidey whent off the roof with Ock, Spidey shot a web at the device and snagged it hard from the roof. Ock's tentacles along with Spidey's web kept them from going through the side of the building.

They are now on the side of the building, both read to charge at eachother. Ock looks at the device in Spidey's hand, then Spidey smashes it with his fist and rips out the heart of it and throws it.

Now, Battling on the side of the Empire State building, Spidey shoots a web into Ocks face, then kicks him. Ock's tentacles quickly take off the webbing, while Spidey jumps into the air upward a little, though, Ock grabs Spidey's legs and swings him through the window and into the building. Ock breaks open a part of the wall and grabs Spidey by the head, slamming him into the wall and throughing him through another window, back outside onto the side of the bulding in this evil thunderstorm. Spidey, then jump kicks Ock in the jaw just as Ock is about to climb up the building, however, Ock then wacks Spidey in the face twice with his tentacles, but the third time, he misses.

Spidey: "You got any more, Doc?!"

Spidey sounds mean and angry, hardly muttering a wisecrack. Ock then agressivley slams his tentacles through the building and takes out two big chunks.

He throws one at Spidey, but he dodges it, then another, dodges it once again, but then Spidey shoots two webs at it and throws it back. Ock is about to get hit by a big chunk of the wall, but Ock's tentacles block him and take the impact.

Then Ock climbs up the building faster and latches onto Spidey's leg, pulling him down, however, Spidey is falling fast off the side of the empire state building. Wind and rain rushing through his costume. Ock is smiling.
However, Spidey shoots 2 webs at Ock and pulls him down as well. Now they are both brawling in mid air. Spidey punching Ock's tentacles, doing no damage however, Ock's tentacles grab Spidey and try to choke him to death while another tentacle is waching Spidey in the stomach. Spidey then punches Ock 3 times in the face hard.
They both are still falling.

Ock: "You will be finished Web-swinger!"

They almost hit the ground until Spidey shoots a web and swings alog with Ock through a small building out the other side! and fall onto a nearby roof.

Spidey's costume is torn ALOT. he's bleeding everywhere it's torn. Ock's coat and clothes are torn as well.

Spidey: "I-if I die...I'm ughhh..taking you with me!!!!!"

Then Spidy sprints and rams into Ock hard off the roof. The roof is pretty high and then they both land very fast and Hard ontop of a car. There is silence. No noise but rain, lightning, and thunder.
Spidey isn't moving, Ock isnt moving. Ock appears to be bleeding out of his mouth.

Like some sort of spiritual connection. We see Aunt May's hand, money still in it, close, which means she's awake. We then see Spidey's hand move. and he slwly sstarts moving.

Spidey: "Ughh....AHHHHHH!!!!!!"

Spidey's obviously in pain. He's up on his feet, but he falls to one knee with alighnting in thunder exploding in the background. Spidey turns his head slowly to still see Ock knocked out. Spidey, slowly crawls over to Ock to see if he's breathing and, to be honest, he is. Then, Spidey a couple of webs at Ock's tentacles and maknig sure they are around them tight. The cops arrive moments later and are startled at what they see. Spidey watches as Ock gets up and is escorted to the back of a big Swat armored truck.

The rain is slowly stopping, no more thunder, and the sun is starting to come out. Morning is just about here.

minutes later, we find Spider-Man standing on the edge of one of the gargoyles of the crysler building. He removes his mask, bruised and bloody was he under that mask in that fight. The sun is rising.

Spidey, still unmasked...

Spidey: *I couldn't save everybody. People died in this city yesterday....and I couldn't save them. maybe that was the answer I was looking for. No matter how hard I fight and save people, even someone like me is vulnerable. When will I get what's fair though? Am I destined for this? I guess those questions won't be answered for a long time..or maybe forever.*

Then, about an hour later, we find MJ, and Flash, etc, in Aunt May's hospital room.

Aunt May: "Oh, what a wonderful surprise!"

MJ: "We were so worried about you, Aunt May."

Flash: "Sorry, Misses Parker for finding out so late. I was busy, but I'm here, and I brought you some flowers."

Aunt May: "Oh, that is so beautiful."

Aunt May grabs Flash and kisses him in the cheek making him blush. Then, Peter walks into the room bruised up with a few stitches and a sling.

MJ: "Oh my god! Peter, what happened?!"

Peter becomes nervous again.

Peter: "I guess I might have hurt my self by accident during that trance thing in the city."

Aunt May tears up at seeing Peter like this.

Aunt May: "What trance? What is all this pish tosh you people are talking about? Why are you all bruised up, Peter, dear?"

Peter: "It doesn't matter Aunt May, all that matters is that you are okay."

Then, we turn our attention to Ryker's Island, once again, and to a certain cell containig Dr. Otto Octavius.

Ock: *Weaklings...all over this place. When I get out, and oh believe me, I will, Spider-Man will be finished, and this time....PERMANETLEY!*
We then zoom out of Ryker's Island and slowly fade to black.

The end......?

 
OMG!!!!!!!! I can imagine tht battle in my head. What happened to Mysterio. Is he still alive or what? Dun Dun Dun!!!!!
