Having the intelligence to say something witty while using wisdom to temper it so you don't offend needlessly. And the willpower to say nothing if a situation or conversation doesn't warrant it.

Everyone has the option to have their opinion/philosophy/etc. But when a person in your inner circle/family have a dumb opinion (subjective of course) how does that make you feel?

It depends: if there's some alcohol involved, I tend to get more feisty than usual (imagine that) and I really don't care whose opinion is it -if borders stupidity- I will definitely say something about it. There are two topics my family cannot talk about: politics and football.

What would you say is your best feature?

I am amazingly average in every way, and even though they are as average as the rest of me I've been told I have kind eyes and that they express every feeling I have. I've a terrible poker face, if you want to know what I'm thinking just look at me, my very body language betrays my thoughts.

What would say is your best quality?

Maybe the fact that I can't stay mad over stupid things, for long. I can't, I simply can't. It's a waste of time.

What's your guilty pleasure?

 

[Rozen Thorne]

A guilty pleasure is an activity or piece of media that someone enjoys but would be embarrassed by if other people found out about it... the problem is everyone in my circle knows what I like, I'm transparent with my pleasures. My biggest secret got blown open a while ago so... nothing.

Why do you suppose that power corrupts people?

There's no one person, that I know of/can think of, whose essence haven't changed after "having a taste of" power. As humans, I don't think we can deal with power as good as we think.

Power, most of the time equals: money, sex, fame, control. People praise you. You are a demi-god! But why stopping there if you can be a God? An almighty being!

Humans would always want just a bit more and a little bit more after that too. Some get so blind that they really do not care whose head are crushing, as long as they can have their next dosis of power. It's like a drug.

Why do you suppose it doesn't?

Why power doesn't corrupt people? Because people are more than capable of corrupting themselves without any power at all, people choose to do terrible things to other people not for power or money or glory, no, they do those things because they can, because of pure spite. Someone has a little bit of something and another person wants it and when they can't get it then they convince themselves that that person doesn't deserve it either, it's not fair. Fairness is an alien concept for corrupt people, they don't know the meaning of it because in their minds they've never received it. It's all about how easy a thing can be, destroying and killing and stealing is easy, power is just a tool to do more terrible things to a broader amount of people. No I don't think power corrupts people, people corrupt power because they are innately, fundamentally, evil on a genetic level... it's in our DNA and we have to use our will to resist that call to do easy terrible things every single day on every level of our lives.

What is your absolute FAVORITE game?

Back to the TNP thread you said "I definitely would get some things taken care of,": what would those things be?

Considering this would be 20 years ago when I was young enough to be saved from my physical imperfections, I have a scar below my left eye with ink in it I'd have fixed up and lasered. At the time I didn't have my Wisdom teeth taken out so those would go. I'd get my nose straightened after it got broke in rugby in Uni. A nasty scar on my gut I'd like disappeared. Stuff like that.

So money is object, you'd have the finest doctors in the world, what would you like done with your body?

Oh, boy! I'd have a nose job, although it's small and perky, I'd like it to be a little bit thinner; some lip filling (just a touch! Nothing major like the Ks); improve my chest area... A minor "lift" situation just because I can; liposuction for the belly area as well as for my thighs and I believe that would be it. Yeah.

Have you ever came across with an old bully from school/high school?

Every day in the mirror, see I was much bigger than all my classmates well until high school and at the time I was dealing with "issues" so I'd take my frustrations out on everyone. I'm sure people are still looking for paybacks.

How do you deal with your frustrations?

I'd most probably eat my frustrations away. That's something that I cannot really control. Although, I'm making some changes regarding my way of thinking, how I manage my emotions and the way I communicate them... It's a long process! But a much needed one.

Dealing with my frustrations is something I really need to change for both my physical and mental health.

You have to fill a basket with goodies for a Friend, what would you put in the basket and why?

Very unspecific question based upon a hypothetical "friend" scenario. Each friend I have has unique likes and tastes, any gift basket would be tailored specifically for just them alone and no two baskets would ever look the same. A generic variety basket would contain a food item they enjoy, a beverage of high quality, a book they wouldn't have read yet, a knickknack that would fit into their hobby collection, perhaps a condiment or spice of their taste, a utensil or tool they would have use for, things of that nature.

What household tool do you use the most on a daily basis?

I have one of those things that have many little tools, I use that! But not on a daily basis.

Have you ever seen something out of the corner of your eyes and when you look there's nothing around?

All the freaking time! But most of the times, it's my cat running at full speed. Some other times, it's just my hair... it looks like a halo (contrary to my avatar, I have BIG hair).

Do you enjoy some "artsy" activity?

Yeah I used to paint/draw a hundred years ago, I've written some stories, I put together a couple scrapbooks.

You are between the 10 most successful dudes in the world, why? What kind of business put you there?

Hmm, so I'd be number 5 on the Forbes 500, in my perfect world I'd have the smarts to hire some of the most ingenious scientists, chemists, and physicists to develop a faster than light fusion/warp engine for spacecraft. We have the theory in place, let's say another 10 years to fabricate a working prototype.

2006, got my first job, they had INTERNET (we didn't have an internet connection back home) and I really cannot remember how or why but YouTube was one of the first websites I used to go to. I knew there was this nice song I would listen on MTV or something like that... and it was this song:



I became a DMB fan almost immediately!

What kind of small business would you like to run? and where?

I'm pretty done with serious business at this point, but I wouldn't mind having a little comic book shop with like a back room for tabletop gamers to chill. Where... have to be in town (my small rural one) next to a grocery store so they can run over for munchies.

What would be the best workplace perk?

You know what I'd love? A nice place to enjoy my lunch break! I had 4 different jobs and none of them had a dining hall/cafeteria/don't know how you call them (?), it was either a packed little/tiny kitchen with a crappy old desk or right on my own desk.

Quite a few actually, Entomophobia, Pyrophobia, Scoptophobia, Haphephobia... in varying degrees from not too bad to holy feck!!

Do you remember every birthday wish you've ever made?

We get three wishes over here and they are always basically the same ones: love for me, for the ones here with me (at my b-day party) and may God bless them because I need them. And I may, or may not, cheat and wish for something else for me but I'm keeping that one for me only.

Is there any texture that you hate?

I dislike itchy coarse wool.
