Comics Asm#565

Absolutely. I dont find it out of the ordinary at all. Hell, a friend of mine at work just found out he has a half-brother down in Austraila, and these guys are in their fifties.

That stuff happens all the time.

Aloha,
Kraven being the epitome of macho, would have kids ALL over the place.
I enjoyed 565.Had a feeling it wasn't Peter who got snagged by her. It's about time someone other than Flash got mistaken for Spidey.
Spidey rules

There ya go, see Cap knows.

It hasn't officially been said that she's his daughter. Heck I'm hoping it's a Gwen clone :) and she's just taking the name because she can :) :)

How many children is Kraven supposed to have??

The Grim Hunter was supposed to be his only kid. Then came Alyosha, who the Grim Hunter didn't know about, Kraven's OTHER only kid :whatever:

It's entirely possible that She-Kraven, as folks are calling her, is not necessarily his daughter. She could be his younger sister. Or perhaps she could be one of his lovers prior to meeting Calypso. Or she could be someone who was orphaned after her parents were killed in Africa and Kraven adopted and raised her as if she were his own child. A "relationship" between the original Kraven could mean any one of those things (and certainly better than having her be ANOTHER one of his offspring.)

Yeah, Kraven was a regular Don Juan as evidenced by his wanting to have Gwen Stacy be his concubine during in Roy Thomas's Savage Land story (ASM #103-#104). Course, maybe Kraven got the idea from Norman Osborn. :oldrazz:

I effing LOVE those issues!

I like the bit were Gwen walks out in a bikini and JJ and Peter are like 'WHOA!'

As long as Marvel continues to be the House of Recycled Ideas they probably will continue to bring countless new Kravens, Goblins and whatever. God, the only amazing with Spider-Man today is how pathetic the comic is.

Really? I dont recall seeing Disassembled, House of M, Planet Hulk, Civil War, World War Hulk, or a full scale Skrull takeover of the planet Earth before, and i've been reading marvel for nearly fourty years...what ideas do you feel are being "recycled"

The "made-up ones" that everybody on the internet are complaining about... :whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Same thing with this "generic ASM complaint"...

God, the only amazing with Spider-Man today is how pathetic the comic is.

The book is only "pathetic" if you actually read it and think that it is... as opposed to taking the word of every Spider-Man Cry-Baby out there that has access to a computer and doesn't like the direction that the book has taken... which is what many cry-babies have done as opposed to actually reading it...

Now... having said that, I'm aware that there are a few people that have actually taken the time and read the book "with an open-mind" and do not like the new direction... and that's cool imo. At least they have tried it and do not like it. Fine. That's all that anybody without blinders on could ask for. An effort.

However, it is my belief that many people out there simply like to jump on the generic complaining department without actually giving the book a try... and that's not fair to anybody.

And THAT... is merely MY two cents.

Cheers...

Welcome to being an official elitist ******. I wondered when you'd get there.

If Marvel can't let go of the Kraven concept they should just bring him back to life instead of creating more bland imitators. Yeah, it would "ruin" another classic story, but if you're going to trample on Norman's death, Harry's death, Aunt May's death, the marriage, and be content with leaving a bunch of continuity issues unresolved due to the new "he was never married and no one knows his secret identity" status quo, why not?

^^^
Not only would it ruin the story, but Kraven would just be useless. I like how there are other Kraven hunters trying to live up to the original

God i hope marvel keeps kraven dead, i would rather kraven had an infinite number of children than to have him come back from the dead.

Well, I think I have been "open minded" long enough already when it comes to Spider-Man. I have continued to read it even though the quality has been pretty low most of the times for the last twenty years or so. I have continued through one crappy "life changing"-event after another. I simply don't have any interest anymore in stories which is all about plot, plot, plot. I'm sick and tired of writers who really don't have anything to say. And I have a long time been thinking that if there was just one more of these crappy events, one more "shocking surprise" in the form of another character returning from the dead or something, that would be the last straw. And One More Day was definitely that last straw.

The main gripe I have with BND, is that it really just re-hashs old Spidey stories and plots.

Ok while its fine for newer readers, or anyone who wants to jump on board now, for those of us who have been reading the stories for 25+ years, its just the same stories again with modern day updates. I appreciate some of you guys like Captain Stacy and TMOTB have been reading for longer than this and enjoy the new direction, but I find it difficult to put the old stories and continuity behind me and just read the latest stories like the concepts are new to me.
