Norman's the one who sends the Six out as a diversion. He'll sweep in as the Goblin later to consolidate his hold on New York economically and within the underworld in the aftermath of the Six's rampage.

And the other 2 I went with Mysterio and Shocker because they are probably my favorite two villains that haven't been used in film yet.

I just don't think the Lizard would fit and I think the Green Goblin (Harry or Norman) would fit better on his own anyways. Goblin doesn't seem like someone who wants to fight with a team. Possibly control the team though.

either way he is thrilled for the hunt in the concrete jungle
spiderman has to fight both while also trying to stop kraven from killing lizard because of course he is dr.conors
would make for a great struggle as well as a great story and film

I finally read The Gentleman's background status lastnight & thought his envolvement made for an interesting overall plot. Webb has clearly done a good bit of research into various stories that have involved Sinister Six & this route with Gentleman has potential.

The only character in his Sinister Six I'm not familiar with is Pity. Go check out The Gentleman's (Gustaf Fiers's) profile. It has quite gripping possible plot details & he seems indeed a very dangerous person to cross swords with.

His 6 would be my pick.

I too am interested to see if the man in the shadows and briefly seen in the trailer is indeed The Gentleman or another Spider-Man villain. He clearly disappeared in the prison cell with Connors so I wonder if he could be Mysterio possibly.

He needs a mix of classic & Ultimate style & Webb hinted he likes the "later stuff" probably refering to Ultimate Mysterio. He can easily keep the dome but updated. Fishbowl is great but one of the above photos shows it can be modified for movie.

I like a mix of the 2nd Halo helmet & Spock suit but finished in metallic green & purple cape.

and i actually like him as a villian i just dont see them doimg a sandman in asm for some reason though

I only picked five since my ideal lineup is

Doc Ock (Otto Octavius)
Shocker (Herman Schultz)
Mysterio (Quinton Beck)
Scorpion (Mac Gargan)
Hobgoblin (Roderick Kingsley)

Then for the sixth, I'd say it should be Beetle/Mach (Abe Jenkins) as he's part of the Spider-Man rights and thus can't be a member of the Thunderbolts despite being a VERY well-developed character.

This team of super criminals would actually be functional since these are all career criminals and not complete psychopaths like Carnage or Sin Eater.

Doc Ock would lead the team in a large-scale heist attempt to get a band of fugitives filthy rich. Naturally, he hires Shocker who's an expert with security systems along with Mysterio who's great at creating diversions.

Hobgoblin would be the guy financing this operation. As an openly gay fashion designer, philanthropist and socialite out of costume, nobody expects that he's secretly a criminal mastermind, nor that he managed to get his hands on the Goblin serum. He's rich enough to secure any equipment that the other thieves need and unassuming enough that nobody would suspect that he's purchasing all this suspicious hardware for anything other than legitimate means. Like the cops can come to investigate his apartment and he'd literally have an EXCUSE for designing armored battlesuits.

Scorpion would be the muscle. He's the guy who messes people up when there's no way to get around people. As effectively an evil Spider-Man, he succeeds in causing diversions.

Mach would be the guy who does the heavy lifting. He's an expert with explosives who may be able to create shortcuts when Shocker and Mysterio can't infiltrate. That and if the police show up, he's able to fly away with all the team's ill-gotten gains instead of needing to travel by ground. He's also med-evac in case anyone gets hurt.

Think Ocean's 11 with supervillains.

You know it only just occurred to me that if the sinister six are going to get their own movie they will almost certainly want a female member. So they could either grab one of the other female villians or anti heroes like black cat or shriek or whatever and ram them in or what will be more likely is they will gender swap one of the other characters like shocker or the scorpion.

I would be ok with that

Rhino and Electro will already be established after Amazing Spider-Man 2, which will also set the stage for Doctor Octopus and Vulture. I'm hedging my bets on the Man in the Shadows being Mysterio. That left me with 5 easily chosen members of the team, with only the 6th a struggle. I didn't really want a Green Goblin on the team, Harry or Norman, as I want Doctor Octopus firmly established as the leader. So I opted for Kraven, perhaps reimagined as a notorious bounty hunter hired by Osborn to take down Spider-Man.

I would substitute Hobgoblin for any of them except Ock, only we won't ever get what I would consider a proper Hobgoblin so I'd rather they just leave well enough alone.

Norman should probably be in my list but I don't want to cut anyone and anyway if they're doing six villains it won't hurt to go with lucky seven . Maybe Norman can conflict with the Six over who gets to kill Spidey.

Also Sandman should be up there even though he'd never make the cut with me choosing. Ditto Chameleon, that guy is yawn central.
