I saw this last night, not the MIND BLOWING event it's made out to be by many, but still enjoyable, with some cool action and a fun concept. I liked it.

At times the "aliens" looked a bit too much like puppets/people in costumes....but the movie had a bit of a low budget feel anyway, so it kinda fit with the vibe.

Saw it Weds night, and I'd LOVE to go see it again tonight, except it was released for only one week here. A friend of mine saw it earlier this year and I was totally willing to drive 3 hours just so see it, so I should count myself lucky it was only an hour away.

Was absolutely fantastic. I love how the aliens were portrayed, and the characterization in the film made it truly fresh. My two favorite scenes were [blackout] when they walk to the flats through the neighborhood and then when they peel-off to each of their flats.[/blackout]

It seriously eclipses Thor, Captain America, First Class, and whatever else I've seen this year, in terms of enjoyment for me. I want to own it. Right. Now.

For me, DEFINITELY the surprise hit of the Summer, maybe even the year (so far) !

Yea, I was kinda surprised at how well written the characters were. Especially Moses. Great character arc.

I loved those two little pyromaniac kids too.

I finally got around to seeing this and I think I was generally underwhelmed.

It's strange....on IMDb, it has a rating of 6.9/10, which is closer to what I would give it, but on sites like rottentomatoes, slashfilm, or spill, there are reviewers on there heralding the film as the best, if not, one of the top five best movies of the year...

Ummm....maybe I need to watch it again, but I didn't see it that way.

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was a good movie, but it was nowhere near as special as movies like Rango, Midnight in Paris, Hanna, Jane Eyre, The Help, Limitless,...etc.
