This actually looks pretty cool.
I always prefer third person. On a game like this even more so.I'll check it out. I wish it was in 3rd person, or at least that it gave you the option to switch back and forth.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the writing/story is better and the characters more memorable. Also with a world like this, being able to explore it is a huge plus.Eh it looks cool. Not a fan of the IP though. Could be a Butcher Bay situation where the game is better than the movie.
That game surprised everyone with how good it turned out.X-Men Origins Wolverine is the prime eXample of the videogame being better than the movie.![]()
I won’t play at launch but I am looking forward to exploring Pandora, which was my favourite part of the film.It feels like Far Cry but set in Pandora!
I will definitely buy this![]()
Are there any first person games you like?I just got an email from Ubisoft for this...
I can't play a game that has a character moving in 1st person. This would have been in my waitlist if only, this is a third person game. The graphiX looks amazing, and i would at least enjoy checking out Pandora and doing photo mode.
The only first person game I've finished was Resident Evil 7. I have Resident Evil Village but haven't played it. GTA V/RDR2 have first person option, but I never really used it. Mortal Kombat X has first person for the Krypt section (for unlockables) which I accessed several times. Are there any first person games you like?
I’ll go in expecting no story lol. I want it to look as good as possible though, and interactivity with the environment is a nice bonus.I got a gift card as a Christmas present and the game was already on a good sale (just 45 euros) so I got it and I've been playing for a few hours. It's good so far, even if the story is a little bit basic (an Avatar mainstay). The visuals are gorgeous, I love how massive the world looks and all the details, there's movement all around, some of the plant life directly interacts with the character and it's very cool. Graphically it isn't quite as impressive as I'd hoped, but it still looks amazing and the slightly decreased graphical quality makes sense with how genuinely alive the map is and how vast it is. Combat and crafting is all good, it plays very much like a Far Cry game and I like those, so I was right at home.
