Avengers 4 may not be Infinity War part 2 anymore but its still continuing the Thanos/Infinity Stones storyline.

Like would you get the original xmen cast together for one last hurrah, mix them with ioan Griffith mr fantastic (could be a fun moment with the human torch and cap) and then smash the universes together, rip them apart and start a new with the new marvel u?

The MCU takes stories and adapts them with many deviations. Just adapting Secret War doesn't mean you need the FF or X-Men to do it. They can just write them out and do whatever they want. It's always been that way
