Spider-Man sequel is coming out in July 2019.
So 2020 still has all three to be officially announced.

I kind of assume GotG3 will be the May 1, 2020 choice and Dr Strange 2 will be the Nov 6, 2020......

that leaves the August 7 movie as the mystery. Probably too soon for a BP sequel and clearly too soon for Spider-Man 3 or Ant-man 3, and also probably too early for any of the previous Fox controlled movies.

That means it's almost certain to be a new franchise.

So something totally new that they've had in their stable already. Unless it's the BW solo and or BW team-up movie. So what is August 2020? It would need to be announced fairly soon.

Perhaps if season 5 is to be the final Shield season they could have all of them appear in IW AND die -- therefore having enough deaths to make an impact and also make the fans of Shield happy?

Would be nice, but then you'd have SHIELD characters appearing in the movies and that makes nobody happy.

It'll probably be the Black Widow movie, with Fantastic Four coming out the following year.

I'd be fine with that. It would make me hate Thanos if he killed Quake.

No way that would work. Remember, they think he is dead. So, essentially, it would be them being like:

"Oh my god Coulson, You're alive!!!! Wait, no sorry. False alarm" :o

You could kill everybody but Coulson.

I have a feeling once Thanos collects all 6 stones and leaves the Avengers in pieces, he's just going to peace out. I think they're going to take the fight to him in A4, with Captain Marvel alongside.

I don't expect much death in this one but I very strongly believe Tony dies in Avengers 4.

I think one or two lesser Avengers will die in IW. I think Cap will die in A4 though.

I think it would be manageable to do Black Panther 2 in that time, but that said, Marvel tends to do 1 new property a year since we started the 2-3 movies a year format. So I agree with your assessment. For 2020, James Gunn has basically all but told us Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is coming as the May 2020. Doctor Strange 2 is also a safe bet. Can you believe that by 2020, Doctor Strange's 1st film will be 4 years old? That's why I say it is the November movie, also. But as for who the new property is, so many possibilities!

Same. I think someone on the level of a Loki will die in IW (perma I mean...I can see an ending where everyone dies or is believed dead). But yeah, Avengers 4...Stark is my pick. I think Evans is a red herring and Cap's role will be more like Stark's role now in future films. Small appearances, and maybe as leader of a New Avengers.

I had not even considered Black Widow as an option....buuuuut it makes sense! Has a writer and everything. Good call

Well here’s what we know:

Untitled Spider-Man 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Untitled Black Widow movie

We also know that Feige said that the films will take place throughout the MCU in place AND time. So there is a very good chance that Black Widow will be a prequel. It will probably make for a better story anyway if it was.

I suspect plenty of death in these two films. However I feel 100% certain that Tony and Steve will die “together” to save the universe.

I am not sure if Widow will be a prequel. I am thinking it will be present day, but involve her past. I know Disney has the magic age technology, but ScarJo by the time of the solo will be noticeably older when comparing say IM2 to Black Widow, LOL!

That said if it is a prequel, I would be okay with this

Here once again is the most certainly bogus "leaked list" from last year....

May 1, 2020...................GG3
August 7, 2020...............BW----- female team-up is now more likely
November 6, 2020.........DrS2

February 12, 2021.........BP2
May 7, 2021..................New franchise "A"
November 5, 2021.......SM3

February 11, 2022........CM2
May 6, 2022..................New franchise "B"
Aug 5 or Nov 4, 2022...AM3

February 10, 2023.........BW2
May 5, 2023..................New franchise "C"
November 3, 2023........Drs3

February 16, 2024........BP3
May 3, 2024.................New franchise "A" part 2
Aug 2 or Nov 1, 2024...New franchise "D"

February 14, 2025........CM3
May 2, 2025................New franchise "B" part 2
August 1, 2025............New franchise "E"

The first announcement for the 2020 movies will 99.9% prove this false but at least the dates look logical.

I guess Nebula will die in confrontation with her "dad". Vision will "die" but his consciousness will stay in the mind stone and will have role in defeating Thanos. In Avengers 4 stone will be put in his head and he will live again.
I could see Loki or Heimdall sacrificing himself to allow Asgardiains to escape Thanos.
In A4 Cap or IM or both will die. After their conflict both of them dying heroically together to save the universe would be very emotional scene.

They won't kill loads of heroes unless they can reverse it. I will be disappointed personally if he don't get at least one emotional and permanent death to Cap or Iron Man.

And to me, that is why i DO hope they have at least one or two perma deaths. IT makes the emotional impact of it that just much more felt.. And i always find it campy as hell, when they just "HAVE to include a wayout' of death.."

Oh lord, just don't kill Falcon or War Machine. Unless they get the most EPIC death possible.

With Falcon not really having any powers, nor war machine, AND Cody still somewhat recovering from being severely injured in CW, why don't you want either of them to die?

Days of Future Past killed off almost everyone and brought not just those back to life but those who died in movies even before that. Critics seemed fine with it.

IMO that was cause it dealt with a mix of time travel and 'alternate' realities.

Would be nice, but then you'd have SHIELD characters appearing in the movies and that makes nobody happy.

Come again?? I would Love to see may, or phil, or mac make an appearance in the films!

All of them, this movie will be Rated M for Murder. Everyone gets slaughtered and dies. Even the villains. Nobody makes it out alive.

No matter who dies I can see the time gem playing a big factor in reviving the heroes.

My Death Predictions:

Avengers:
  • Steve "Captain America" Rogers
  • Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff (or) Clint "Hawkeye" Barton
  • Vision (though he'll be restored or resurrected)
  • Sam "Falcon" Wilson (or) James "War Machine" Rhodes
Rogers is expected - he has been ever since Civil War, and if he makes it through Avengers 3 & 4, I'll be amazed. Tasha & Clint are, unfortunately, disposable at this stage I feel; we know both of their characters so we'd be sympathetic to a death, and I'm leaning more toward Clint, cause we know he'd be leaving a family behind. I'm also somewhat convinced that we'll lose either Sam or Rhodey here.

Oher Good Guys/Gals:
  • Nick Fury (or) Maria Hill
  • Erik Selvig
  • Heimdall (if he's due to appear)

Antiheroes:
  • Loki
  • Nebula
These two I think will die separately, Loki, either via a scheme that backfires, or he goes full circle and sacrifices himself for Thor. Nebula to meet her demise in a rage attempt on/against Thanos himself.

Other:
  • Taneleer Tivan / The Collector
I think Thanos will seek him out thinking he has one of the gems, and then merely disposes of him when it turns out he doesn't.

I think the entirety of the Guardians are safe, simply because they've got their own trilogy to fulfil, and the few fans of Guardians who aren't quite up to speed with the MCU wouldn't be too happy if one of the team suddenly wasn't around for Vol. 3.

I also think that the entire Wakandan Cast (Shuri, T'Challa, M'Baku, Ramonda & Okoye) are safe because they've only just been introduced. It would be a waste to kill any of them off prematurely. Stephen Strange is safe, as is Wong (he's already technically died once - I doubt they'd kill him a second time for the sake of it).

Hulk, Spidey, Valkyrie, Ant Man, Bucky and Thor I'd also say are safe - either because of their status, or because of their more recent introduction or (in the case of Bucky) redemption. The only other possibly fatality might just be Pepper, which could send Stark over the edge, ultimately getting himself killed too, but I'm in two minds about that!

I think Tony's going to make the sacrifice play in Avengers 3. And he will be Avenged in Avengers 4.

My Death Predictions:

Avengers:
  • Steve "Captain America" Rogers
  • Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff (or) Clint "Hawkeye" Barton
  • Vision (though he'll be restored or resurrected)
  • Sam "Falcon" Wilson (or) James "War Machine" Rhodes

Of those, i agree with steve, rhodes (ever since civil war i feared he'd die) and either natasha or clint..

Oher Good Guys/Gals:
  • Nick Fury (or) Maria Hill
  • Erik Selvig
  • Heimdall (if he's due to appear)

I can see erik coming to an end..

Antiheroes:
  • Loki
  • Nebula
These two I think will die separately, Loki, either via a scheme that backfires, or he goes full circle and sacrifices himself for Thor. Nebula to meet her demise in a rage attempt on/against Thanos himself.

It would be nice to see Loki go out in a heroic sacrifice...

Other:
  • Taneleer Tivan / The Collector

But he should.. He had both the cube and aether given to him at the end of thor dark world...

I forgot about the Aether, so maybe Thanos gets that from him and then kills him - either way, he's dead. He doesn't have the Cube though; that (was) on Asgard. When Sif gave Tivan the Aether, I believe he queries why they didn't keep it on Asgard, and it was stated there that they (Odin/Asgardians) didn't think it was a good idea to keep two stones in the same place.

The Cube (Tesseract) was on Asgard. We saw Loki look at it when he went to acquire Surtur's helmet, so I think it's safe to say that Loki took the Tesseract, or hid it somewhere, and will later be forced to give it too, or bargain it with Thanos.
