Its pretty sweet, and the price isn't that bad at all considering how much the seasons are individually.

Definitely badass, in terms of content and packaging. Beats my four individual volumes, but I'll remain content.

is this like from early 90s to the end of 90s? Like does it have the new batman and robin adventures and so on? :)

*erections*

I'm glad I only have volume four
defs gonna pick this up

ya, and the episodes w/ nightwing. but no batman beyond. (but that doesn't really count)

I've got all but 3 so far. I think I'm gonna stick w/ the sets I got. it's just not worth me getting it at this point. but I do think it's the best deal if ur starting from scratch. not to mention the better packaging and bonus disc.

so ya, I wish that I had the new set, but it's too similer to what I already have to go for it.

Oh, man. I paid about $200 CDN in total to get all 4 volumes separately like 4 or 5 years ago. Shucks.

Aw, well. It was a great show. It was worth it. I think.

I live in canada, picked it up at best buy, it came out to like $101.88.

Definetly worth it, I couldnt believe the amount of episodes this show had, its much much more than the other DCAU, (unless superman has a lot).

in a couple of years, they'll have the entire dcau in one package, there's no point buying a package unless it is everything together.

the seperate volumes will suffice for me.

In a couple years, I'll have a blu-ray player. But for now I do not, and with that logic, why buy anything if there just gonna come out with better later?

I'll also wait until it comes out (Hopefully) on Blu-Ray.

I don't kno. first they'd have to re-release batman w/ it's movies, than again w/ batman beyond and its movies. it looks like we have a long way to go.

idk, that might be a while. and I'm not sure there's even that much difference in a cartoons picture quality. and I'm pretty sure BR players can play normal dvds too.

but than again if you really wanna wait go ahead. they might add more special features, so who knows?

it's a simple waiting game

I know fully well that one day star wars will release a box set with all six movies in it. i just have to sit tight.

on the flipside that is merely the collector's part of me, the rational part of me says i should buy them in the cheapest form regardless of what they look like.

in this day and age, if you really wanted to, you could created your own boxset, it's just simple packaging.

It looks like a great set for $75, but I've also picked up the separate seasons.

Considering it's not 16x9, I'm not sure Blu-ray versions would be THAT much better, especially some of the earlier seasons. Mask of the Phantasm & Return of the Joker could be pretty great though.

I'm patient. I can wait. I have the equipment, I want to take advantage of it.

Saw this at Target today, I was bummed that I didnt have the money to pick it up.

I don't have any of the individual seasons, so this is a must buy for me.

I don't think the upgrade from DVD to Blu Ray is that big of a deal on an animated series like this, so it's totally worth it in my eyes.

Nope... Superman: The Animated Series consists of only 54 episodes.

Well, I have this ordered, so lets hope everything goes smoothly for me.

Yeah, I never watched Superman : TAS, no reason, just never saw it on. I probably could of wiki'd it, but I have no interest in the guy in blue by himself.
