that's the first thing i thought of when i saw this... not ms. witherspoon, per se, but just celebs who cheat in general...

i mean, you're a guy, and you're dating/married to (insert huge mega-star celebrity woman here) and you decide to cheat.... why?

well, because she's just your average woman. she may be bad in bed, or whines when you leave your laundry on the floor, or pee on the seat, or she poops while you're in the shower, or whatev... i mean, celebrities are just people, too... very, very popular people.
