But hey, if it's okay to trash on banned members because they were jerks, and that's why they got banned, I wonder if that makes it okay for me to trash on people here who haven't got banned yet, but are still jerks?

If a person is dumb enough, belligerent enough, a general ass to the community, or blatantly breaks rules, and gets banned then its on them. They have lost the right to defend themselves in here.

They ended up nailed to our wall of shame by the ban-hammer because of their own foolish actions.

I remember a previous person who made similar comments. I don't believe they post here anymore, and not by their choice.

There are plenty of people who are considered jerks here and are called as much and they aren't banned. That doesn't mean they won't get banned or that everyone tolerates them.

I don't know any other sites that creates entertainment around banned members as much as the Hype. Is that suppose to curtail infraction-worthy behavior? This thread, in my opinion, should just be a thread run by moderators where they make announcements that a poster has been banned, so we don't have to ask question. That may be a lot of work, though, but I'd imagine it'd be more informative for members on this site.

Because in the end everyone is going to be banned or go into exile someday, never to return. In a way we are all making fun of ourselves.

SAAD was a racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. Thebumwhowalks was a rambling lunatic who constantly made no sense and attacked others. Shemtov was well... Shemtov.

They were infamously bad posters who treated others like crap. Treat others like they want to be treated.

But Nell loves defend posters like them all they want.
