I remember Crazy Quilt as the the guy who ran me off in my only foray into the politics forums. I tried to discuss civilly while he just kept telling me I had no idea what I'm saying and that I had to go back to school to learn reading.

I never went back to the politics threads.

This S.A.A.D seemed like a genuine misanthrope and sociopath. It's like he doesn't know how to communicate with fellow human beings or how other people feel. Or just doesn't care. Hard to tell.

The mods have only gotten into hyper-vigilant banning the last year or two.

Thebum and S.A.A.D both wouldn't last as long in today's tighter environment (although since C.Lee disappeared things are starting to regress to how they used to be).

Sometimes I appreciate C.Lee. Other times he's too heavy handed and can also be, well, condescending on occasions. But it is always fun to see him smack down a troll who is just asking for it.
